mourinho doesnt know to build-up an attack. nothing new. everybody knows it. was the same with real madrid (and probably even better players). we should get used to it. the only way we can win this matches is through individualism or mistakes by the opponent. Mou is just a pure counter-attacking coach.

well, with mata-oscar-hazard on the pitch we had 3 creative players in the attack and still couldnt create anyhting. schürrle was one of the best players in the 1st half..I think he definetly could play in the starting line-up. he is perfect for mourinhos counter-attacking game. futhermore technically he is really good, dont know how you think he isnt good enough.

shit game but good result. willian and oscar both anonymous. etoo didnt do much beside the goal too. mikel/ramires are doing their job quite well. our offensive play is awful though. no idea how to build-up and create chances. the only thing we can is counter-attack atm...which is kinda usual for Mourinho Teams.

well to be fair, RW isnt his best position. clearly better in the centre, where he has been playing for Bremen and often for Genk too. he is too slow für the wings in my opinion. still wouldnt write him off, he has loads of potential. I think he is just lacking confidence, which isnt something suprising if you havent been playing for weeks now. mou doesnt trust him, criticized him in public etc. he should build up his confidence instead of f-ing him up.

like you expect to create tons of chances at arsenals ground (leader of the table) with a second gear team...

he didnt too much in attack either...he was solid, nothing more in my opinion. but far from "killing it"...

how is willian killing it? he was on the same level as mata and kdb- average.

only concern was hazard...he was totally outdid by zabaleta. still has to learn a lot and is just to inconsistent.

well to be fair, schalke was missing Huntelaar (best striker) and Farfan (probably their best winger). and boateng isnt used playing as a 9. so clearly a mistake by Keller, should have started with Szalai as a striker. hopefully the team can keep it up at home against Schalke. I think winning against Schalke and not losing to Basel and we are through.

awful game but a good result. seems like the players are either saving themselves up for city or dont have motivation to play. just walking around the pitch without desire/determination.

MOTM is Terry. great game by our skipper. game all in all wasnt good. we only created chances on counter-attacks and they should have scored the 2nd goal. lucky win in the end and Luiz had a terrible night. we need to solve this problem with deep-sitting teams and avoid gifting them goals

Result is good but the game wasnt good at all. cardiff could have (should have) scored before the 2-1 and we would have a different game now....still cant play against deep sitting teams and have no clue how to crack them up

we have absolutely no clue how to attack when the opposition sits deep. typical mourinho-team atm. only can attack via counter or by individualism. we need to learn some pattersn and moves how to tear up deep sitting teams.

great performance and important win. but we also have to admit that Steaua was awful. seems that without the two players they have sold they look completely lost and play like a different team. were much better last year in the EL. now two important games against schalke. if we win both, I think we are through to the 1/16

fayzulin was palying next to him. but fayzulin isnt really a DM, was also often playing as a winger or AMF. tymoschuk or zyrianov are mor used to play as a DM.

how do you say he didnt take his chance? it was 1 game?! oscar is more capable to run and defend because of his style of play. he is more mobile and faster than Mata. you cant change a players setup. surely mata can get better in terms of pressing and defending, but he will never be good enough in this aspect to play as a RW. so either we sell Mata or we put him as a CAM. no other options for me tbh. As I said I dont care about players because I am fan of the club, but I think someone who has delivered for 2 years should be treated otherwise. You cant put Ronaldo as a DM and demand from him to adapt to it. Mata is not 21 anymore, he is already a solid player. Maybe Mou will work it out, atm it doesnt look like it. In terms of creativity and vision we have no player similiar to Mata. and hazard-mata works much better than oscar-hazard in my opinion.

Fans like me just want our best player to be appreciated. and dropping him and saying him learn how to play a new way or either fuck off is not the right way. just my opinion. Mata is superior to Oscar and should play though and not as a RW. he wont suddenly turn into a player who runs down the wing and will close down players because this isnt his style of play. you cant turn around a player 180 degrees. mou wont make mata faster and defensively stronger. if he isnt in your plans than sell him but dont play games with him like Mou is doing atm.

Oscar was good no question, but Mata was better than him the past 2 seasons, so what. And Mata wont be a key player for us or what? why is hazard playing while he is playing shit and Mata isnt? where is the meritocracy Mou is known for? yeah we are top of the league but could be out of it today, so what? we lost against Basel at home and looked awful. we played bs against United and we wasnt very good yesterday too. you turst and Mou and dickride everything he does. other users dont. accept it or go to a mourinho fanboard. thats it. canales and sahin were both injured the whole time. really not great examples. canales is still injured... I do think that it seems Mou doesnt like Mata. I dont know why, but it seems that he doesnt want to involve spanish players? Azpi is sitting on the bench, Mata isnt playing a lot etc. I really hope Mou wakes up and finally motivates Mata. how our performance after the 55th min is due to bad luck or lacking a finisher? we couldnt even create a chance for nearly 40 mins? most of our 22 shots were embarassing and not even near to being dangerous. dont get why people are so often quoting these shots. we had 6 shots on target while they had 5. thats the more important fact. shooting from 30-40 m and shooting 10 m above the goal is no stat to show how good a team is.
