To him, the players are never responsible, has it ever come across to some people who blame it all on the manager that maybe its actually that we have a squad full of either over the hill past it crybabies, others who would never get you even in the top 4 with only a few quality players. Hey some would argue that the full potential of our squad is fucking lucky to get 5th!

And watching Lampard and others acting like a complete arsehole due to their need to be selfish and rub their ego, all the while giving two fingers to the fans who have given him and others unconditional support and spent time and oney following them is making me go off from watching football knowing that these same players might be here next season. Fans have a right to let out anger knowing that there support has been taking for granted and have been basically told to go fuck themselves.

Possible, although expect people (particularly the ones on The Shed End forum and CFCnet) who are adament that the old guard have done nothing wrong and would never try and create mutiny to latch on to this story and pronounce it as fact. Seriously the other two forums have so manny people in denial that the players are the problems and even say that AVB should have licked theirr asses and inflate their ego.

Some people are in a great deal of denial. Who are desperate to cling on to this image that so called "legends" are honest saints who would never do a thing wrong, act like a twat and always put the club and manager before them. Pfft!

Fuck it, lets get Van Basten, he will give them an absolute bollocking and would not let them take control. Someone needs to come and show them they are not the club, hopefully by chucking them out of the club.

My fear is that in order to stop the players turning against him he will just play 4-3-3 with Terry, Cole Lampard, Malouda and Drogba as the core, no matter how bad they play. But yet if they then decide to play well (which would make them even more disgraceful) and get a 4th spot, then when the next manager comes in we don't have an overhaul AGAIN, and we keep the same players, who will let us ddown again. Its like a never ending circus.

Becuae it might put rationality back into the squad. It may be the only way that we stop this circus from going on and on. And the biggest clowns of this circus are the players. The way we are going these players will never leave and with a cabal of the old guard who have big egos that makes them think they run the club and can do what they want. We will continue this route of short instant gratification that will be a disaster (if its not already a disaster). The likes of Lampard and Cole are destroying the club with in. And if we don't get rid of them and continue to let it have there way we may never be able to recover to be a top club anymore.

The moment Lampard starts undermining the manager and plays like he could not give a fuck and thinks he runs the club, he is giving two fingers to the fans and saying "I could not give a shit about you, I'm doing what is in my self interest". So fuck youu Lampard.

To me Wilkins seems to never want to critisize the players. To him they can do no wrong.

I came to the club becuase of players like Zola and good old Jimmy. Players who certanly don't have big inflated egos or were just here becuase of the memories of Jose Atleast in Ranieri we played with passion and character. You felt proud to support these players.

Apparently it would cost £20 million pounds to sack AVB. Coupled with the £13 million pounds that would mean the club payed £33 million pounds for the players to waste becuase of their fucking ego. FFS!

According to Sky Sports News (from that twitter from the last page) AVB has been sacked and Rafa wlll take over.
