  1. No, One is too big of a character that naturally wants to play on his own upfront, while the other one is too quite who easily gets pushed over. Problem is the latter is a striker, nothing else. It should also be noted that when both are on the pitch, neither has scored.
  2. The reason we are still in Jose's shadoww is that the core players that made by him are there. You have to get rid of that core to vanish the ghost. Its as simply as that. Letting the players take over (even if they have all but in name) will just seeing that core benefit them only. Plus these players are too egotistical and immature to manage a club. To be honest I just want them to be ridden from the club and give this club a new fresh identity. Moving to new pastures and actually enter a new era, not holding on to old memories with this old lot.
  3. If we face Real Madrid or Barcelona, we've got no chance. Especially with Madrid as Jose will be plying mind games like he did with the old guard like he did against Inter. But with the siituation we are in now in terms of managers he knows that he will be able to push the dagger right in the heart.
  4. I'm a bit worried that some seem to have forgotten how bad most of these players have been for the last two years.
  5. David Luiz shows you can have a big personality that does not involve thinking you can undermine managers and try and control the squad yourself.
  6. This. It will be interesting when they face Wigan again. Remember when everyone was still partying after the Valencia game? A lot of the players still need to go in the summer.
  7. I will say it again, great performance, but why did they not show that much passion before? It makes it the win bittersweet..
  8. I congragulate them for the performance, why did they nott give this much passion in the last few months? It does make the victory bittersweet.
  9. Since Torres and Drogba will probably be on the pitch together, expect us not to score again .
  10. hahahaahahahahaahahah Chelsea, they bring you up and knock you down.
  11. If we want to win the game we have to take of Essien, huge liability at the moment.
  12. Lol and pundits were arguing that AVB should have used the old guard in the first leg.
  13. Why do we keep throwing hopefull balls to Drogba, it hardley works
  14. I honestly won't be surprised that about 10 minutes in the game, the players will decide to switch to 4-3-3
  15. Lampard has to stay in that DM posittion. I fear he will keep going up to the box trying to get a tap in goal and leave huge gaps on the pitch.
  16. So he is placing his trust with Cech, Terry, Essien, Lampard and Drogba. If they get ripped apart. It tells us that we need to get rid most of the old guard.
  17. I hope when the next manager (which wont be Jose) certain sections of the fans will give full support and backing and not moan and complain that ty are not Jose. From what I have seen with the constant jerking of to Jose that some will immedialty be against the new manager (especially someone like David Moyes or anyone who has not managed big clubs) becuase they stopped Jose takig over. Thats what I fear.
  18. So John Terry has changed his mind, so its "players must share the blame" to "we did nothing wrong but would like Jose back if you're listening Roman". Just shut your mouth Terry.
  19. But my point is that we still need an overhaul. I'm not picking out individuals but I am saying that these players have been shit for the last two seasons. I have great fears that if we do get 4th some (including the board) will then kee pthem, they will force the new manager to play them and we go through long periods where we are shit again next season. I can see this happening if we get 4th. Interestingly, all of the old guard played today, is Di Matteo making sure more mutiny does not come against him/
  20. Because I want people to be brought back down to earth. I have horrible feelings of a lot of the old guard being kept, playing regularly next season and like this and last season, play shit for long periods and another manager gets sacked. The player that made a difference was Mata, had it not been for his brilliant pass we would have not scored. It was staggering that all of the old guard (and those that created muting against AVB) started and played the whole 90 minutes. To me they gave me absolutely no confidence on why they should be kept, but some (importantly the current/new manager and the board) will in a stupid thought that they might have something to offer keep them, only for them to disappoint once again.
  21. So apparently the last three months when these supposed experianced players played like shit does not bother you. Or the fact that they were shit today, were shit last season, and could easily be shit again in the future does not bother you? Are you happy that in the future we will just be shit with the same players?
