  1. I would not mind if Sturridge was a striker like Kevin Phillips who sits around the box and just waits for a chance to come for him to pounce on it. But he wants the ball at his feet and to work with it, but it means you have to know when to pass it and not try stupid tricks and skills all the time in a desperate attempt to score the impossible goal.
  2. The funny thing is, he bundled it in, nearly missed kicked it.
  3. Give them the role and they will just look out for themselves, they are not going to drop themselves.
  4. Great, that means the next manager knows he will have to overhaul the squad. It shows that a slow transitional period is impossible.
  5. I just managed to get what you were trying to say without a code cracking device. Baring in mind he dropped the highline around about November/December and basically suited the tactes from Jose's reign. Baring in mind, Terry played every game. He used Drogba most of the time apart from suspension and injury. Ashley Cole played every PL game when available and Lampard did not get dropped often according to statistics. Lampard plaining admitted that it was the fact that AVB wanted to move them on, you see it in performances against the likes of Everton and WBA away when the players clearly did not give a tossed. Its clear that these players refuse to do a slow transistion and want the team based around them for years to come. Even thoug Carlo and later AVB did and look what happened. 18 months of putrid performances, slow boring football and the inability to get winning form. Its obvious that the only way we can move on is by radical change in the summer, becuase these players just refuse to take a lesser role. Giggs starts infrequently, this players want to start every game. Thats not transistion. I want long term planning. I don't care if we go 2-3 seasons without a trophy as long as we have a new team, a new identity that is allowed to gel together and give me a sense of opptimism for the future. Keeping the likes of Lampard and Terry and basing the team around them will just produce the same as the last 18 months bare one or two games every 3 months. Its the likes of you that want a short term fix by playing the same old guard and hopping they will up their games, and refuse to move on and go through a few years of building a new team. Fans like you are spoiled who want short term fixes such as the appointment of RDM, but these short term fixes will run out soon, and then we will really be in the shit.
  6. If the worst happens will they cancel the game out of respect.
  7. LOL!!! Well its better then being Henrique whos brain is a rotten egg thats been shit on by horse suffering from diarrhea. I mean are you really this simple-minded who acts like a spoiled kid who wants everything now?!
  8. Becuase a transitional period (at least the one many want where you still keep a few experienced players) means that the players who made up the spine of your team are no longer the main men, the tactics are not based on them anymore and younger players take the helm. But as we have seen in this season, most of the old guard refuse to play a lesser role and demand to the main men for all eternity, making a transitional period impossible. Lampard may have scored a few penalties, but his contribution to other midfield dutues has been piss poor most of the time. I love it how he now comes after the Napoli game he beating his drum when a few months ago he only came out complaining how unfiar it was that he was actually being dropped for being crap. And I really do laugh at you, you seem to be changing your mind every five minutes when it comes managers and players. When a new manager comes in I can't wait until they draw 2 games in a row as you will be one of the very first people kciking and screaming demanding the new manager out.
  9. http://www.thesun.co...illas-Boas.html Right, can we finally confirm that these bastards should be shipped out in the summer. He basically admits that he complained about being dropped, while refusing to acknowledge poor performances in the last 18 months that resulted in being dropped. All the while trying to sugar coat it in a pathetic way of saying he was only doing it for the team. Yeah Frank, of course you were not doing it for your egos. Any new manager should take note of this interview and do a clear overhaul.
  10. I'm sorry but this guy is a disgrace... https://twitter.com/#!/SuperAlex707 Not even going to copy some of his tweets.
  11. BBC 5Live arn't mentioning that statement, they still keep saying they have not recieved any more information... Strange.
  12. If it comes from SSN then hopefully it came from good souces and not Twitter rumors.
  13. I would not follow what Twitter says, an hour before there was rumors that he died.
  14. With the Man City game on Wednesday, I will be very surprised if any player that played the whole 120 minutes against Napoli would feature in this game.
  15. And who do you want as manger, and are you going to support them no matter what or are you going to start kicking as screaming, demanding the next manager to be sacked as soon ass they don't win two games in a row like you did with Carlo and AVB?
  16. http://dailyfootball...or-villas-boas/ Tony Cascarino asked during the Hawksbee & Jacobs show on Talk Sport – “Do you know what the players allegedly called AVB ?” “They called him DVD because every time they saw him he was walking around with a pile of DVDs under his arm and making them watch them. “The players didn’t believe in him or what was happening at the club, that’s the bottom line and you can’t buy that. “They didn’t buy into what he wanted and they were not persuaded and they’ve been winners and if you can’t convince winners then they won’t give you the time of day.” And who said players have all the power ?
  17. Need I remind you that this fat bastard gets paid over £100,000 a week? Since he is a professional I demand by default 100% effort and really consistent good performance, as soon as someone starts moaning, throwing their toys out of their pram and going through long periods of (whether deliberately or not) of shit performances although the while undermining the manager (and effectively flipping two fingers to fan like me and you by not giving tem a fuck) to me makes his status as a Chelsea player (and so called Chelsea legends by fans who have the wool pulled over their eyes) untenable and he must leave soon. If a School pupil acted like Lampard, they would be punished and get poor grades. If a politician acted like Lampard, they would be satirized, ridiculed and hated If anybody in a job of any type acted like Lampard, they would be sacked. So pardon me for not liking his arse 24/7 like you. Pardon me for actually having the audacity to be critical of him who is still an employee of the cub. As a fan who gives time and money to this club, Lampard has acted like a complete tosser. It’s nice that he has a set of fans who will never dare criticise him and demand that everybody show him respect. But you can go fuck yourself for asking me to respect someone, who to me, went through large periods this season only caring about stroking his own ego and not the club. That’s inexcusable and no David Cameron style PR attempt of interviews by claiming how much he "loves the club" and those stupid badge kissing acts will cover up the fact that I have lost a lot of respect for this guy and thinks he needs to go. You can worship him like a cult leader but I will take a rational critical view of him, as well as with all players who are being paid to play football.
  18. And since I still think Lampard must be kicked out of the club this summer for being an arragont tosser, he certainly shouldnot be manager
  19. We do no have an "uber" team, we have a bunch of 30+ stll livng in the past. Who for 2 seasons now have gone through long periods of pure crap. Winless streaks where we are 5th and now have to pray we can set up a run that just makes us safe for next year CL. These players are unreliable, and these players are too hostile to change and are the problem. We need to get rid of the problem.
  20. And a lot of players who had great careers have absolutely flopped as manager or don't have glorious careers as managers. No what your advocating should never hapen. End off.
  21. But if the whole "experience" factor is being incredibly resistant to any sort of change, then I really believe you will have to sacrifice experiance to get change. The whole idea of a slow transitional period where you keep some older players while breeding new ones is no longer availabe. We should have started when Scolari took over, but players got rid of him, Hiddink just used Jose tactics, Carlo was never the man to change the squad (and never dared think about dropping the underperforming old guard) and now wee have a cabal of players who have too much power and are to toxic. We must have radical change or suffer like this and last season And I find it ironic that you go on about how AVB had no experience as manager, but you want to give the job to a bunch of egotistical bastards who's only "experience" in management is throwing their toys out of the pram when they don't get their own way.
