  1. Good sub, come on Chelsea - will take a point please! Cahill was sleeping with the goal - but agree with the points above, Mata has been quiet - poor Azpi though!
  2. Karma will come back and bite you...oh sorry I meant Luis Suarez! Anyhow, must get a result - so we can have a great last game of the season knowing Spurs won't be in the Champions league!
  3. Won't believe the Pellegrini one until confirmed, seems to be linked with a lot of clubs. Understandably our reputation may not be the best, but would you turn down a Champions league winning team within the Premier League, with a great academy and resources; on top of that with a bit of money of them. Unfortunately, we have gone through many managers that we have limited options for top managers to come. All in all it's going to be a bit of a managerial merry-go-round this summer!
  4. The only other club I could see Jose going to in the PL, is Man City purely how vast in resources they have. I don't think he wanted to take over Utd due to replacing someone like SAF, Utd's reluctance to hire him (hasn't been involved in a 'long-term' project for them); and doesn't fit the bill to how a Utd manager should be (e.g. his press conferences). I think Sir Alex called him to tell the news of his retirement not for a job offer. Having said all that - hopefully we are the only club that gets him in the summer!
  5. Thanks! Another one added into the exclusive group!
  6. If by some curse Jose doesn't come back, I would love to see the board getting Klopp - or see Hiddink. But The Special One seems to be showing all the signs that he is coming back
  7. Okay, I wasn't fully sure, so I argued this season! P.S. I'm not a dude!
  8. Really? The 08-09 season they were genuine title contenders until January, and with three straight draws they were gone. No way we would have won this season, too much to ask with the amount of changes we made during summer's transfer window, plus to jump from 6th place to 1st is a challenge in itself regardless. The only credit I will give AVB is the signings of young players (DeBruyne, Courtois, Romeu) and the signing of Mata, other than that Rafa would have lasted the same length of time as AVB did.
  9. Oh wow - was that up in the highlands? The highlands is where I spent my childhood holidays, the hidden beauty of Scotland! Nonsense I've heard from my friends, who spent backpacking last year, how kind and polite you guys were!
  10. Did that on FIFA, as a joke (instead it was Courtois!). But agree, hopefully this summer it will be a clear out (Benayoun, Malouda, possibly Marin on loan). And then the reinforcement of game changers can begin! Not much tweaking though, just need someone 'special' to take over! :eyebrows:
  11. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2013/05/09/moyes-to-depart The Manager met Chairman Bill Kenwright early yesterday evening (Wednesday 8th May) and confirmed his desire to join Manchester United.
  12. Unfortunately you won't be looking there anytime soon!
  13. Looking forward to join the Scottish clan's debates! Grew up on the outskirts of Glasgow, but later on family moved away so just outside of Glenrothes.
  14. Oh well by the end of the month he will be gone! All I care about is that he gets us into the top 4; if he's done that - not too bothered about the pre-season results, the players will want to have a holiday or focus on internationals by that point!
  15. His substitution making is awful for a manager of his 'quality'. In a game when we can hold out for a win don't bring attacking players - JT should have been subbed on for hazard to give a extra man marking when Spurs were going to attack in the last part of the game. Cannot sub on like for like unless we aren't winning. Oh well 3 games left!
  16. As a fellow Scot, sad to see him go - I think the league will miss his presence next season. However as a Chelsea fan thank goodness he is leaving!
  17. SkySports News are running a Special Report on him this Monday at 7pm
  18. Haha, thanks I'm sure we will have a pleasant experience of meeting!
  19. Imagine if it turned out to be false, and Sir Alex said "nahh I've signed a two year extension!". I don't think Jose really wants the Man Utd job, despite his respect to SAF, why try to cement a new legacy when the one you've stepped into won't be forgotten for a long time. Me thinks Jose might be coming home, but I'm not about to jump up and down yet..
