Costa is a cunt, Falcao might flop after injury,Balotelli is a hot head, Ibra is a beast but might be too expensive and isn't one for the future, Suarez, Dzeko and Rooney are very hard to get because they're from rival clubs and would cost a fortune, Higuain might be good but for 25m tops, Jackson Martinez would cost 30m+ and isn't good enough for that price tag, Benteke is too similar to Lukaku, Mandzukic is not world class but if he costs 15m then why not. I would like to see Cavani here, and I think he would perfectly fit in. He tracks back and helps defending, he has very good work rates, and isn't just a poacher. Yes, he is a great keeper, but IMO he can't just come in and expect to overthrow one of the best keepers in the world and club legend who has been here for almost 10 years. My thoughts about defense. Get new LB, offload Cole, get Bertrand to be a backup. Move Dave to RB spot, then move IvanoviÄ to CB. IvanoviÄ can be a backup for Dave, and can be played either as a starting CB or backup. He is good at defending and heading, just horrible at going forward.
