He was poor ,we want him to be our match winner in the big games and he did not turn up today ,maybe he was tired after Europe as he is still a class act ,but the team still dug in ,Eden will have other days .

Rose tinted glasses come to mind He did OK at the very best and should be very fresh coming on for 20 mins when everyone else has played in Europe away ,calm down son,he did ok and we won .

Fouling in the pivot is very much part of the job ,Fernandinho did it all day long , it is a dirty job and Lampard showed he can do it when needed ,in past games v City we have just watched them waltz past us .

This is absoloute rubbish and a bit of a cliche ,jt reads the game so well he knows when to push and when to drop ,a bigger problem is when Mikel is in the team (thankfully not often now) our back four have to drop deep because of the way Mikel plays . JT was superb today .

Nando was great ,is this the second coming if Jose can bring back Nando from the dead he is more than special .

Did very well with Rammy once again they are formidable in a game where Hazard and.Oscar were well below par it was as well that Frank and Rammy gave us the stability we needed. Ya Ya did not run things this time as he alwayd does when matched with Mikel.

Did nothing as per usual he cant even play a square ball without it bobbling horribly ,first time we have beaten City in a while and with him in we probably lose again, Rammy was superb .

It does look like he will play tomorrow ,if the game is on ,weather forecast is saying a terrible storm is coming with 80 mph winds and torrential rain in the London area.

A lot of negative vibes here ,but this is Stamford Bridge and this is Chelsea under Mourinho on a good run and full of confidence nothing less than a win is expected ,we will be taking the game to City like Bayern did, they like to play at their own pace. .Our three AM's with Eto'o and Torres both on form ,Lampard and Rammy forming a very good partnership and our well organised back four with Petr as good as ever will be very confident of winning this game at home ,we should have no worries about them at all. By the time Jose has finished his team talk our players will believe winning is a formality and a matter of course. It will not have ecaped Jose's attention that they played in Russia on Weds ,we need to press them and have no fear. This is all about us.

Good lad ,I wish him all the best ,like his attitude . Would be great to see him in our No 9 shirt one day and I think he has half a chance watching him play ,he obviously has belief in his own ability.

Anyone who saw the first half v Spurs and the play since will know Lampard and Ramires will play on Sunday and that will include Jose Mourinho and all others who understand football . The way to beat City is to push Toure back not sit and let him dictate the game and when we do get it make a slow 5 to10 yard pass sideways to a full back .The games in recent times v City have shown Toure walk all over Mikel who just sits back and lets Toure dominate ,we cant let that happen again ,Frank and Rammy will be taking the game to City backing up our three AM's with powerful running and quick forward passing . We need to press them not sit back and wait for them to score.

Jose will not persist with Lampard he is first choice on merit Jose doesn't read the rubbish in the press or let Emenalo pick the team,even the waiter realised he could not do without Lampard.When the shit hit the fan last season.

Some of our supporters seem to agree with the waiters teams,Jose will get team selection dead right,we are playing at home and City Will be worrying about us ,my team will resemble Jose's. Toure needs to be forced on the back foot,that will be the key.

Mis match. It cant happen again . Toure needs to be pushed back and do some defending a square block on the edge of our box,with JT and Cahill on the edge of the six yard box is just what Ya Ya loves to run at,Lampard and Rammy will make him run the other way and think about defending ,Ya Ya cant be allowed to dictate the game at his pace again on Sunday. The only made up bullshit stat you need to understand is that Jose has dropped him because he is useless .

And of course as well as fine passing stats /tackle and interception stats,the stat I like most is Chelsea win again with him in the team.

By the way neither were drawn out of position both were instucted to hold and they did,but of course both have the ability to counter when on with powerful running and quick long passes.

That was due to overloading in the wide areas where they managed to get their full backs forward and create 2v1s ,our wide men needed to work harder and of course Azpi was like out of position ,we needed to counter better and we did that better 2nd half + our early goal meant we had a lead to defend ,Rammy and Lampard have been part of a team that has won every game sine Mikel was dropped ,surely that will not change for City and Ya Ya?

He will need champions league football and he will not get that at Southampton ,he should be a Chelsea player in the near future.

Mikel, is out of the picture he has got no chance of playing ,his stats suggest when he plays we lose and him against Toure is a farce ,Lampard and Rammy is our midfield of choice since they teamed up we have won every game ,bringing Mikel back will mean we will struggle to win and perform like Spurs first half away where we let the opposition midfield totally overwhelm us ,because Mikel just sits and leaves his midfield partner to do too much work alone,he cant run and lacks stamina. I dont see Jose making the same mistakes other managers have with Mikel and the signs are good that he will not. We need to beat City this is our biggest game of the season and Toure is far too good for Mikel,every time we play them he wlaks all over Mikel. Rammy and Lampard will make Toure defend which is what he does not want,look at the Bayern game .

Jose is a better manager now ,I am hoping he will still be Chelsea manager in 10 yes 10 years time ,if he is we will be the power in English football and a European superpower ,lets make this for the long term, we have seen anything else will be second best to Jose he is special and he is Chelsea.
