The player Shaw reminds me of going forward is Lahm ,but he is quicker and more physical as someone said he is 6ft 1" ,I would compare him more to Lahm then Walker or Gibbs ,he could really be that good ,I am talking the best in the world ,hence the fuss about him ,definitely not the token English player some think he would be for Chelsea. Bring him home to the Bridge .

I think you should see more of Shaw and also we need to realise that the Chelsea success of recent times revolves to a large percentage around John Terry and Frank Lampard.

Yep the diving needs to stop in England ,it is OK in the World Cup and European competition and foreign leagues because they all do it and see it as a valid part of the game ,but not here. I would even go as far to say you cant win a World cup or Champions league without simulation,England have had players sent off in World cups because players have simulated injury and Michael Owen dived to win a penalty against the Argies which you have to do if you want to win any European or world competition.

And you will not read that in Fergie's book ,but maybe in Mourinho's after 12 years at Chelsea .

Just read some of the comments after the Arsenal game again ,some people on here are clueless. They actually doubted the special one of us .

The Arsenal game showed Mourinho's intentions and feelings on transition,we could have opened the game up in the last 20 mins and lost (in my opinion it was more likely than winning) ,Mourinho has the title in his sights during this period of transition ,it is his nature. The risk of losing in that game far outweighed the risk we would have taken to win it late on ,especially after dominating the game and doing enough to have won ,it was a dent in Arsenal's confidence, had they won that we may now be well behind them with the boost/setback that result would have given to both clubs affecting the Christmas period. In the Arsenal game it was critical to our title hopes not to lose and transition was never going to be the excuse for Mourinho,make no mistake ,he wants the Premier league title again and transition does not alter that. When transition is complete and we have a centre forward who can nick you the game at Arsenal we might be finishing 20 points clear of them ,but for now during transition we are trying to win the league.

If Jose says he wants to stay for 12 years ,why not? the club should be doing everything to make sure that this time it is long term, I think he has found home this time and he and his family obviously love London,all this firing managers after a bad season or a Champions League exit needs to end and long term trust needs to be given to Mourinho as his heart is in Chelsea and even thinking about replacing him for anyone else will be a backwards step and could lead to several seasons of turmoil. We were very lucky he agreed to come back after the nonsense he put up with last time .

Something about the way he beat two players with a burst of pace from the wing against Liverpool and Southampton and got in the box and shot but did not score tells me there could be life in him yet ,that is what he used to do at Liverpool ,this could be flogging a dead horse and another false dawn but with the team now starting to gel and play some great football together with Jose winding Torres up , there could still be a flicker of hope that Torres will rediscover his form . As I said those solo efforts v Liverpool and Southampton were encouraging and IF he can score form one of those runs that could be the trigger. Last chance saloon but there is a little sign there that he could go on a run ,injuries seem to blight him as well ,so he also needs to stay fit .

Did what he always does ,not a lot . But with JT and Cahill now looking very secure and all our great players turning it on ,you can carry him and no doubt Mourinho is getting the best out of all his players . A normal game for him , I did not notice any difference at all . Is that enough for us?

Another clean sheet away from home ,percentage play and defending properly,winning your tackles and headers and marking properly = clean sheets.

You cant link it to a degenarative terminal injury either, as Ledley King had he was basically a cripple. Shaw is picking up the odd muscle strain ,nothing serious and to be expected for someone of that age . To compare him with King is ridiculous in the extreme. It was probably the same injury that he had not fully recovered from and I doubt there are any long term issues as with Ledley King .

Ledley Kind had a degenerative knee condition ,not a pulled muscle . Strange comparison as a 18 year old has not fully developed yet and would be expected to pick up muscle injuries,very few 18 year olds play every game in top divisions.

Get on Belguim for the world cup ,Eden could be the star of it , I have heard some people say he will never be as good as Messi and Ronaldo? Well he is 22 and players reach a peak at 28 ,watch this space................................................................... under Mourinho Hazard could soon be the best player on the planet,he is that good.
