There were/are big problems with this squad Jose has inherited and our style of play ,Jose is starting to understand what it is that has meant we have been underperforming in the league for years now . He will get it right and against West Ham he started to eradicate why we are soft touches away from home and very in and out . LIke the way he also questiones Riley on why he only needs to appologise for decisions that go Chelsea's way , Riley needs to be ringing a lot of managers again tomorrow inc. Poyet and Malky McKay . Refs have been taking liberties with us for too long now that must stop and we need the same level of respect as Utd under Fergie .otherwise Jose will be speaking out .

He is class , he can do things other ordinary players are unable to do ,the fella is right his flick from Lampard's forward early pass into Oscar for the goal was sublime ,the Hazard,Oscar and Lampard link was a joy to watch .

Mata has not got on anyones bad side ,the problem is down to our recruitment and our policy of buying too many no.10s as the balance showed yesterday . Oscar or Mata will do for me they are both brilliant players ,but I do not want both in the same team it upsets our balance particularly away from home ,this is all down to us not having a stable manager for years and the players being chosen by Abramovich and Emenalo ,Jose needs to win trophies not have an army of swaps in the squad ,we need a defensive minded midfield player not more number 10s. No he is average/poor we got away with it yesterday thanks to Lampard and our great players, Mikel did little, in fact he played two hospital balls to Lampard at the start of the 2nd half but West Ham did not press and made it easy for him ,our forward players were the key yesterday we did not need a sitter in that match it was an easy game for him . When our top players play well we play well ,Lampard,Terry,Hazard,Oscar and Ramires we do not have enough top players and some average ones like Mikel who we have to carry and when our top boys are quiet or not available we struggle.
