My problem with the signing of Benayoun is we have too many inconsistent players already at the club. I think he will be a boost to the team though because of our lack of creative players.

He has pictures on his page that are not published. He takes pictures of himself with his iphone and posts it straight away. He has pictures of himself on nights out with friends and his birthday, also in his bedroom. I have also spoken to him via messages and he knows too much about the training ground ! Also he puts pictures of himself in elevators lol

Yes i agree with Carlo Gerrard can do everything and he can play with Lampard im sure with someone like Essien holding.

Who the hell signs our players and makes the decisions. Carlo clearly came out and said he did out need Steven so who wanted him at the club. I just think Gerrard is better, i think Lampard is a brilliant player though, its just my opinion.

David Luiz is a brilliant centre back he is a complete centre back, he is a much better partner for Terry or Ivo !

Yes i am a Scouser, i have basically lived in Liverpool all of my life, that does not sway my opinion though. Even if you read into those statistics it proves my point the fact that Gerrard is even close to Lampard in attacking contribution is shocking considering the players liverpool have. Since Torres joined Liverpool Gerrards goals and assist ratio's have improved greatly due to him playing with a potent striker. Lampard struggled to play behind the striker when we had a diamond formation, Gerrard excels in that position because of his natural fitness and agility.

Yes Lampard is world class but he is no Steven Gerrard. I do not care about Gerrards personality, his winning attitude is what makes him so great.

Yes he arrived late in the box and he powered a header past DIDA to start it all. That is what im talking about he inspires players, did you see what he did in the FA cup final 2006, Lampard could not do that in his dreams because he does not have that type of drive. Tevez Rooney Gerrard Essien Eto'o are driven players that can make a significant difference in any situation, Lampard is laid back and relaxed. Gerrard was performing wayyyyyyy before torres arrived.

If you put Lampard in the Liverpool midfield he would suffer. Lampard plays with a world class target man that will flick the ball into his space, Gerrard plays with an out and out goal scorer who will not set him up as much. Gerrard would shine if he played for Sunderland, Lampard would struggle for Sunderland. Lampard needs players around him to supply his runs Gerrard has the pace and agility to do it him self !

Gerrard can do a lot more with less resources then Lampard. If lampard played for a shit team like Liverpool he would not be as good. Gerrard can do everything lampard can do but he can also track back with his brilliant pace and he has good agility that is why he can play out wide.
