Im not a fan of signing up and coming keepers, goal keeper is one position that youngsters cant get get games for unless an injury happens.

Anelka as a striker would not even know what spaces to cover in midfield. Anelka is different to drogba in the way he wants to use his pace to run into open space. I think we should play a straight forward 4-4-2 and just play the best players we have. I think when everyone is fit we should try a 4-4-2 like united, cech a.cole bosingwa terry carvalho malouda lampard essien joe cole drogba anelka. With this formation we will have wingers crossing the ball in and creative midfielders putting anelka through on goal.

Drogba's role in the team was very different to now. He was a work horse and he worked harder than any other player. He opened so much space for robben duff and lampard, by the time he got his chance in front of goal he was knackered. Since 2007 drogba has had at least 1 player very close to him to work with to score goals. This has took at least 50% of the work load of him which lets him concentrate on scoring goals.
