  1. Hmn! Just like Lampard went on loan. lol. Mind you I was pissed when and the way he got displaced by TIBO. Firstly, I thought the prat lacked respect with all the shenanigans he pulled in getting him back from loan at AM. The statements he was making in the press about Petr and how he couldn't co-exist in the same club as Petr and so on. So I didn't blame (Petr) him for leaving. But all that story about his family living in London is hogwash. There are millions of people who work in far places and their families don't live with them. This is Europe where everything is less than two hours flight, mostly one hour flights. Can be written into their contracts. I got offered such bonuses coming out of University to work in the Middle East a while back. Though I declined to accept it for other reasons. Its a standard practice if you want it. Beckham was English and played all over the world. Its like going to San Francisco from Los Angeles. My neighbors live that lifestyle. Lots of Americans do. Some live here and work in New York (5 hours away). Drogba did. The minute I saw him fraternizing with Lampard when he scored that crucial goal against us gave me some eerie feeling this was going to happen. I fail to see how it was not a dig at JM. How quickly he forgot, how the GK he replaced at Chelsea must have felt. Petr is still a favorite, and take a look at my profile on the left, before you say otherwise. His statements before the game and after the game sums it all. Its not the end of the world, but I expected better from him. I've met him and spoken to him as a person during those Chelsea trips to the USA. He is a humble person and likable too, unlike that prick Mikel. I know we will still get the better of them (Arsenal) what is done is done. But he has written his last Chelsea chapter, just like Lampard, although in a less disgraceful manner.
  2. Some people just don't get it.
  3. Now this is downright annoying.
  4. Its called ageing. Before you start poking fun at him, it might be you in some years time.
  5. Sorry, you're way off base on this. If you you really know JM, this is not the first time, he's thrown his winning medals into the stands.
  6. I think the Chilean Ps. (Aranquis) or Pogba will complete the puzzle. We need another player that break up passes, but creative.
  7. Petr obviously did this move out of spite. Before some of you get all riled up, the TIBO replacement was his motivation. Petr was my MVP and I just recently took his picture off after so many years. He was clearly enjoying it and I can believe for sure he did give a lot of JM and Chelsea's secrets to Wenger. But I blame Roman. As much as I like him as a Chelsea owner, he often times lets his emotions get the better of him. Chevchenko, Torres, (like firing 4-5 good managers because they failed to get Torres going) and some other half azz players that he liked and did not pan out. It pains me that he sold Petr to Arsenal and somehow I get this feeling that Arsene coached Petr to go above JM's head to secure the move. I hope Roman also understands that he has just opened the Pandora's box. He has set up a precedence and every player will now feel that they can do the same, if they do not like where JM recommends them to. My second gripe is why do we sell players before securing the replacements. Look at the drama we went through to get Begovic. We should have gotten our GK first before selling Petr. It would have diminished his signing psychologically as opposed to giving Wenger this mental edge against JM. Now we sold Luis and are struggling to get a replacement. Look at the Lukaku sale to Everton, now they will not even reciprocate and sell a player that obviously wants to move to the bridge to us. barely one year later.
  8. Why was the team so uninspiring? Hazard? Fabregas? Ivan, not one single cross went inside. Wrong passes everywhere, players just strolling all over the place. The whole team was pathetic.
  9. Roman needs to stay out of football matters.
  10. Well ask Roman. I would have never done this. Not in a million years.,
  11. Fuck is there another game i could watch. Damn Ivan.
  12. I feel you. All of them are just standing around. Even Fabregas is offsides
  13. Even the TV coverage sucks. I fee like I'm watching the game in my mirror.
  14. To think I waited all week for this. Smh. The whole team sucks.
  15. lol. Its not that bad. WE are just literally taking this friendly to another level. We are just poor team wise. Only Ramirez and Willian are putting the effort. The rest are still on vacation.
  16. Remy Seriously needs to go and sit. He's killed all our attacks so far. His loss of the ball from an offside position contributed to the goal. Hazard has gone to sleep again. Why can't just play 90 minutes of soccer most times? We have zero offense, with the exception of missed chances from Ramirez
  17. Thank you. He will be rich and very quickly forgotten if he doesn't win trophies.
  18. Wait I minute, I thought Pogba was a flop, because he didn't make it at Man U. Lol Isn't he a Man U reject? Lol.
  19. Go figure. It's an English thing. Everybody is flop if you don't fit into a particular coach's theme in an EPL team. Smh.I guess Matic was a flop too, but since he came back to Chelsea, he's world class.
  20. I'm not worried, anxious maybe, but I know Chelsea. When they are ready to sign someone, you will be pleasantly surprised. All these overpriced surplus being paraded around are surplus to requirement in their respective clubs does not inspire me at all. Who woulda thought the likes of Zouma, Aspi, Oscar, Harzard, William were all going to become world class players three-four years ago. Patience people, patience. Btw: I hate summer transfer windows though.
  21. They love to make up stuff about Chelsea. lol There's no more inside sources anymore for cousin Jamie. :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
  22. Difference being their two main guys were old. Xavi is old and the other guy retired to an oil field somewhere. So they had to. The difference being we don't have to do squat .
  23. They probably pulled a "Naymar" on him. I don't trust those fuckers.
  24. Couldn't have put things any better.
  25. Most EPl teams have the player's salaries at about 58-62% of their total revenues. A 12 million salary will definitely tip the scales. It will be like a domino effect, because all the other players on the team will want or demand an improved salary. I cannot imagine him making more money than Messi and/or Naymar. Or Ronaldo in Real. All the super egos will kick in.
