Schurrle fucking quality tonight, just immense. Proved a lot of doubters wrong here.

Surely 45 mins worth of credit there even for the hardiest of members on here.
-
Ray Wilkins fucking spot on, exactly what I have been saying.
-
I said this today, he sat for some time and answered questions....but no, he stormed out. You can thank fucking SSN and other outlets for this shit.....absolute wankers.
-
Well, yeah, of course they will it was me stating how they start.
-
It will be Schurrle left, Mata right and Oscar behind Torres.
-
I am sorry I seen the SKY team news and it didn't include Torres. Sorry chaps.
-
Schurrle starting up top is a suprise.
-
No Willian and Schurrle up top?
-
Over here ITV have the Celtic v Barcelona game on, but I can bet you one thing here, had United played tonight against Donetsk they would be on ITV and Celtic on SKY.
-
You are pissing up the wrong tree, some things and people are better left alone.
-
No action, great news, now a goal or two or three tonight Nando please.

Some of this clubs supporters love rash and off the cuff remarks, they think 'sack' after one loss and actually believe the press when they write 'Jose storms out' instead of allowing the truth to dictate. It's what football and some football fans have become......It's quite embarrassing.

I don't get the statement "I hope he can turn things around" What exactly has he got to turn around? If we had lost three games and and looked about as effective as plane without fuel then I would agree to a certain extent, but we have lost one league match, against a very good Everton side and missed numerous chances, which on another day could go in. Basle was a bad night, but I have a feeling this fixture is the sticking point in everyone's minds and they are using it as the stick to beat Jose and call us poor. I don't think for one second we have been amazing, we have played some good football, if anything the turning things around should be labelled at the strikers and there ability not to convert chances. Jose is dealing with a new hand, and un-opened deck if you like. Six games into the league stage and we have faced Spurs away, United away and lost to Everton....You watch how many team go to United, Spurs and Everton and come away with points, it won't be many I tell ya. People may argue the purchases weren't right and people were let go out on loan who should of remained but that is now by the by, we have a group of fresh young blood who need to step up, they will but we need to allow them to do this with patience and support, and that means backing Jose to the hilt. People are being fed off the press, the press have already hit the Chelsea panic button with certain supporters hands hovering right above the button,it's wrong and quite frankly annoying. It's back to this instant success thing again, people are wanting 100% records, clean sheets, un beaten runs, five and six goals a game and quite frankly it won't happen. The BPL this year is the toughest it's been for some time, I mean fuck even Arsenal have spunked nigh on 50M on one player, City have went bonkers again and United have spunked stupid money on an average Belgian......It's madness out there. We are a young group developing, let the manager manage and give him the support he needs, the press won't, opposition fans won't but we can and will, the best man is in charge. There is nothing to turn around, just something to build.
-
I think we should just sack him. Then all live happily ever after.
-
Hope the confident Torres turns up tonight, thought he was great against Spurs. Daft bet at the bookies tonight......Torres three goals.

The word stormed is one of which the cancerous English media will role out time and time again for the sake of a headline. When I first heard of 'Jose storms out of press conference' my initial reaction was banging fists on desk and kicking of chair, only to arrive home and see him explaining to the press his thoughts, nodding in the direction of media, a small smirk, a tap in the direction of the Chelsea official and a pat on the shoulder of Frank. But hey let's not let the truth get in the way of as good old media frenzy eh? Anyway on to tonight, my team. Cech Azpilcueta Terry Luiz Cole Mikel Lampard Mata Oscar Willian Torres

Everton played some brilliant stuff in that first half, great to see Lukaku popping them home, keep doing it son.
-
See the press all over it like a rash again.....Something and nothing and Jose is spot on, they keep asking questions about everytime a player is left out, have they seen the size of our fucking squad? No, sorry I don't expect the press to know that, they are far too focused on stirring shit. When I get asked stupid questions at work I walk away, seems Jose is no different.

What annoys me in this modern day game we watch, is how much weight a players reaction and crowd reaction dictates a refs decision. You could see Mike Dean fucking loving it when players followed him after Torres challenged for that header. He loved, like most refs, being centre of attention. For me right now refs are more hell bent on ruining games rather than allowing to flow into really great feisty affairs without going OTT. You can see the delight and power they hold when they brandish cards to players when they are cautioned or sent off, they fucking love it, and to me they are more worried about the rating in the paper the following day rather focusing solely on the job in hand. This is just my take, but I fucking hate refs like Dean and Dowd who think they are fucking supreme. People would respect them a lot more if they became a lot more consistent and actually got the basics right.

Need three points here, absolute must after the Basle shambles.
