This a theme, this is the board scraping and trying to chunk the odd million off the price of terminating ANOTHER managers contract, but in the mean time it's eating into preparation for another huge season. Conte will have a settlement fee for any termination in his contract that ends in an early break, rightly so he will be sitting tight, advised by his legal team and squeezing the club, yes the club who agreed to those terms to rightly stump up the dosh. Imagine anyone in that situation knowing you have the club with a new season to prepare for dangling by a string and desperate to get their old manager out and new one in. This is pure amateurish bad planning from CFC AGAIN.
