I'd happily take a mediocre season if the right things are done this summer. Firstly you make RLC and CHO integral parts of the first team, no arguments. There is enough quality in this team to even think bigger, even with a transfer ban. A pre season that includes lots of minutes for Reece-James, have a good in-depth look at him and trust him. If the ban remains do not, and I mean do not, be scared to utilise Tammy Abraham. When I say utilise I mean do not freeze him out if he's brought back, if your not willing to play him, loan him. If the ban is frozen it's key we do not buy players that stunt the development and game time of the three players in CHO, RLC and Reece James. A left back and striker is a must if CAS do their job.

Of course he is going to come out and be vague about it, they are playing us the EL final in a few days, now is not the time or place for it. Matter of time before it's confirmed me thinks.

Are the club thinking right though? The ban could remain, the fans are already full of apprehension and are not Sarri's biggest fan. Lampard and Morris in would create a joint between first team and the youth lads, who may be needed if the ban stays. We have also the small factor of trying to keep CHO again, and what two better men than Frank and Jody to persuade him and give him the big shot he needs. Maybe the club are thinking this way, a new start.
