Carrick has been good but you just feel they are a top class midfielder away from being brilliant IMO. Massive summer for us in terms of bringing people back and signings.

Back line was rank poor yesterday and Luiz was at fault partly for their first yesterday. He got caught ball watching from Carragher's long ball, and left his runner instead of allowing Ryan to deal with the play receiving. Basics again and very poor communication.

What makes me more annoyed about what he did is when my seven year old son turns to me and says "Dad, why did he do that" There really isn't an explanation to his actions, and kids watching that should not see it, this is where the FA need to act, and act accordingly.
