Mou: 'I'm satisfied, the attitude in the first half was the correct one, be patient, wait for a mistake, wait for space. This is exactly the problem, u cant play 'passive' football! This is exactly why we lost. Had we attacked in the first half like we did in the 2nd it would have ended up differently. We would have probably been like 2-0 up at around the 60 min, then u can play your passive football.

But why can Oscar have 2 bad games and still play while mata has to play amazing just to get a few mins? Why can Hazard have a lot of bad games and still be selected? Why can Lamps be shit and still be selected? same goes for Iva...

Ofc Oscar isn't the only one. Willian has done well, deserves to start. Schurrle has done well, but he's not starting because clearly Mou favores Hazard. Mata is not a winger, only role for him is CAM, like Oscar. Oscar can have 2-3 bad games and still keep the CAM role while any 'not-spectacular' performance from Mata gives justification to bench him for a few games. Oscar DID deserve to start up untill around now, but that's not what I'm complaining about.

This is true, and I'm really pissed of about it. None of our other AMs did anything to "prove" that they should be 1st choice, yet they continue to get picked while Mata has to really do something special just to get 90 mins on a League Cup game and around 15 min every now and then in EPL.

Well we just have to hope that Roman will change his ways of the past.

Lets be honest here guys, we haven't been playing well, even when we've won. Bayern, Arsenal, Schalke maybe those were good games. But most of the time we are not playing well. Like Skipper said, Mou needs to find an ATTACKING system that works for us, not a defending one. Do we have Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Willian, Schurrle, KDB so they can defend? dont think so. Mou is here to create an identity for us, to create a system. It will take time, I accept that.

Why the hell are we playing as if we dont need goals? only untill it's like the 70th minute and we're about to lose. It seems like we're trying to just not make mistakes, just move the ball around with no real purpose untill we get a 'lucky goal' like the one Eto'o got today, or the first he got against Schalke, any some other goals aswell. It's like we're totally incharge, except we DONT CREATE anything! just absolutely nothing. It's great that we have good work-rate and that our CAM and wingers defend well, but guess what? all of it doesn't fucking matter if u cant create chances! Absolute joke, can see us struggling for top 4 if things keep heading in this direction.

Exactly how I feel, sometimes it looks like he's not even trying.. He has the talent to create amazing things, maybe he's just afraid of losing posession or something so he doesn't try too much.. I dunno. Hope he gets better, starting from today!

There's a long season ahead, we cant predict what would happen. God forbid if Oscar gets injured.. Then Mata can have a lot of playing time. Or maybe he'll just prove to be betther than Oscar. Or maybeee things will stay the same, he'll have some playing time but wont be 1st choice and he'll choose to stay. And ofc there's the option of him losing his place completely to Oscar. The thing is, and I've said it before, I feel like Mata is a player who needs to be watched for quite some time to impress. He might not do anything that looks spectacular (just passing the ball, moving it around..) for around 60min but then give that one pass that can win the match. He has around 3-4 of those passes in a match I'd say. And it's not like he's not doing anything else in the rest of the match, he moves the ball to where it SHOULD be moved, he helps the game flow. BUT, it might not look like something special for some people, for them it seems like "anyone can pass to the person next to him" or whatever. With Oscar, he dribbles more, has more shots, he's more of the type of player who's gonna try to create something in each play, the kind of player whom you'll find a lot of Youtube videos on. You only need a few minutes to see what a talent he is. I hope you guys get what I mean, because it's quite hard for me to explain, especially in English.

I totally get you, I also hate this although I do it too. It's because we know he has massive talent that we really want to see him doing well. And I know that even though he isn't playing at his best now, he can still be important on the pitch. I know that it's kinda wrong, but cant help it. I think actually that we could try: - Hazard - Willian - Schurrle Willian seems to have some CAM qualities, and he definately deserves a start.

How about something a little different: - Eto'o - - Schurrle - Hazard - Willian Maybe Hazard can get more involved, plus Schurrle and Willian did well against Schalke. If it doesn't work, get Oscar or Mata in.
