Finally. This year was too bad to be true. However, I still have to give out a word of appreciation towards him. Cemented his place in our history with another league title last year. Thanks for the memories but it was time.

Defensively he's amazing, great timings, very intellegent and sober player, very rarely commits a mistake. Good but not dominant in the air. Needs to develop his offensive game in order to be ready to take the leap. When he gets pressed, even if slightly, he tends to just kick the ball forwards instead of trying to build a play. That's not necessarily bad, but for a top team, a ball playing CB is necessary nowadays. He's been steadily improving this aspect of his game. Physically he's alright, may look frail-ish but can definitely take a hit and he's fast enough for a CB. Overall he may need one or two more years developing his game to be considered ready for a bigger league, imo. But if it was up to me he'd stay a long ass time at Sporting.

How so? I've actually seen more criticism of the players. Those "Mourinho getting the sack if doesn't beat X" lasted for a month a best and never came from actual reliable sources. They may come up occasionally because the journos need clicks - bottomline is they don't shit of what's going on behind the scenes and that has been proven countless times. You also can't throw water and flower on a bowl and expect it to come out as bread. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When is the notion that everything he does/says is some part of a masterplan and a deep mindgame going to end? Yesterday he looked absolutely hopeless. Looked like a lost man. People have to accept his time here is over. 4 wins and 9 losses in 16 games is beyond unnaceptable. It's a joke with the talent we have at our disposal. People say the players show no desire... What I see is 11 guys on the pitch who look about as lost as their manager. With the way we're playing it's pretty much expected that the fans are going to be unhappy with him. If last year we could say that the team was a reflection of Mourinho - gritty, grinding, defensively solid, clutch - why can't we say they look lost, uninspired, desperate like he does? When are the ones who defend him going to look over how much they like him and admit he isn't as good as he once was? The game has caught up to him and he hasn't evolved. He hasn't even kept the same level. This Mourinho is a poor mans version of the guy who was the best manager in the world from early 2000's-2010. We've shown 0 signs of improvemente throughout the season. A couple of acceptable games here and there but far, way too far from being enought to give him a vote of confidence or even have hope on turning this around.

I didn't express my true feelings after the Porto at the risk of being called a hater or a moaner - especialy by the little fake nice guy who's always rambling in here - but now that the hard-on has died I feel safer. Yes, it was a good performance and we played well... But a lot of it was due to Porto's manager, Lopetegui. There's a reason Porto fans can't stand him. He's absolutely inept and the talent that he has had at his disposal the past two seasons has carried him. In wednsday's he lined up with 3 CB's, two full-backs, two DM's, one B2B mid and two wingers. He played right into our hands. Fast forward to monday, against a PL team that actually plays football and normal services have been resumed. It's absolutely beyond me how someone can keep defending this. Yes, he's the greatest manager in the clubs history. But he is past it. Guardiola ruined him in Spain, and the proof of this was the football we were playing pre- 5-3 vs Totthenham and post. He got scared ad resorted to the same limited, small minded football. An it was okay at the time because we had the lead and were grinding results. This year it is not. Please, take whatever money you were going to spend on transfers this January and use it to write this man the check he so desires.

Worst possible opponent tbh, they're better than last season. -They're in great form and barely have to break a sweat in their league -Pacey and skillful wingers -Fantastic midfield against ours in poor form -One of the best backlines in Europe (imo, even with the ever so erratic Luiz) We all know how this will go. We'll play defensively, but with even more difficulties attacking than last year. PSG through unfortunately.

Finally some good news.

>cries in the KdB thread over the unfairness of Pacquiao being banned because people were always stirring shit up against him >comes in here and tries to stir up shit against another member You two are so hypocrytical, definitely a match made in heaven.

He and his agent were fucking cunts and forced a move out of Sporting, now they're paying the price of being fucking braindead. If he had stayed he would've been big. Get rekt cunt. FeelsGoodMan /rant

And unfortunately it turns out we kept the worst of the three. Shame really, I thought Oscar would've developed much better than he has.
-
When are people going to admit it was a mistake to not give this guy a much better chance at earning his place? Because it's pretty obvious. He barely played and when he did was at the right wing. If you were in his shoes, out of form, not given a fair chance to gain your spot, your manager barely even talked to you and with a World Cup to play after the season, wouldn't you ask to leave? Calling it crying is beyond stupid IMO Fast forward a couple of years and I'd say it's pretty obvious who regrets the move the most. And it's definitely not Kevin.

Trying to fix the season like:
-
Good starting XI. After today you can't blame the players for not trying - they really did imo (except Fabregas). Our inability to attack is killing us. The way the players tilted after conceding is unacceptable, so mentally fragile. We now have more games played than points. Let it sink in. Just nowhere near enough. Thanks for the memories but it's time to go.
-
You know what, fuck this guy. 88th minute, down 1-0, takes a heavy touch, loses the ball... But doesn't even fucking bother going after it. Jogs back like we're up 4-0 or whatever. What an entitled brat. Jesus christ did he fool us on his first few months.
-
An organized defence wouldn't have allowed that run. Fucking hell... Such a shame because I was seeing improvements on the pitch. Oh, and if Costa stopped the fucking theatrics would really help too.
-
Who are you to tell others to shut up about their opinions? LOL. About the game - dreadful but a win is a win. Given the current state of things I'll take any kind of win.
-
Everyone calls out the media for being ridiculous when deep down inside they're actually geniuses. They come up with a "source" citing that a player would rather lose than win with Mourinho. Without ANY confirmation, the ones who want Mourinho to stay have turned on the players, the ones who want him to leave have even more reasons to have their wish granted. This is separating the fans into two groups that get clearer by the day - anti and pro-Mourinho. And while the internal situation and fan relationships get worse and the circus keeps groing... The media get want they want - pageclicks, they're talked about, retweets, tweets get posted on several Chelsea/football related discussions/websites, people on the outside buy their papers... They just keep on getting money from making a mockery out of this club for most of the part. Madness you say... I call it a great fucking business plan and most people just fall for it.

Which one is it? :>
-
Happy now? Regards.

Go search for yourself, I've been here long enough to know that what I said it's true. And I didn't say it came from you or Blue_Fox directly. Others have said it.
-
You cannot be serious. People who don't back him are often labeled as fickle, gloryhunter, plastic, hater, you name it.
-
That's pretty stupid. The name's Sporting Clube de Portugal, there simply isn't Lisbon in it, no matter how many times you've read it.
-
Criticise him all you want, but what I saw on the pitch was a good performance from Chelsea while Hazard was carving them. Then he started playing worse and the whole team went down. Our dependence on him should be the worrying factor here.
-
CL - 1 win, 1 loss, 1 draw COC - 1 win, 1 loss FA Cup - N/A League - 3 wins, 5 losses, 2 draws Community Shield - 1 loss 5 wins, 8 losses and 3 draws. You're kidding yourself if you think he isn't shitting the bed. He's lost. Yes, he has done great things for us in the past. But right now he isn't good enough. Open your eyes.
-
Looks far better than Ivanovic. Far. Good half so far, need to bump it up a bit.
-
But it's wrong.
