backward is the very last adjective Id ever use to describe my Asian friends and their culture. They are intelligent , educated hard working and extremely polite. They value education much more highly than we do and teach their children to show respect to teachers and older people. They do discriminate in what they take from our culture while retaining what is best from their own . We have much we could learn from them . I certainly benefit highly from their friendship.

IF JT did make a racist comment he deserves to be criticised but by no means by the level being meted out to him , A question I would like to ask the white journos to answer is this : would you prefer your daughter to marry a person of the same race or one from a different race. Members might like to consider what their choice would be. I have many Asian friends ...proud of their race and their cultures . Almost all I know would prefer their children to marry within their own race.
