  1. Ah, should have been clearer there! Same problem as you mate.
  2. Ah brilliant! The avatars look much better.
  3. God I hope not. That would be a disaster! It's all good and well having lots of flair players in our team, but we need someone to be the water-carrier and do the dirty work.
  4. Damn, I missed Revista de la Liga. Has anyone got a download link?
  5. Villa and Sanchez would be more likely to leave anyway, since they didn't come through La Masia, and Villa is supposedly unhappy at Barca for the past while. Not sure about Thiago, he's pretty much guaranteed to take over from Iniesta so I can't imagine him leaving. I have a feeling Pedro could follow Guardiola though.
  6. He has played as a defensive midfielder and in a stricter anchorman role for Barcelona. He has the discipline and tactical awareness to be an anchorman but also has the technique and agility to be a defensive midfielder that supports attacks. I think it could work either way. And I do believe that Chelsea will be playing 4-3-3 next season whether Pep comes or not. It seems like Chelsea are just biding their time until Oscar becomes more comfortable in a deeper position. I wouldn't be too surprised if Oscar gets the Iniesta role in the midfield trio if it does happen.
  7. Another way of putting it: Trophies: the North end of a magnet. Arsenal: the North end of another magnet. We all know what the outcome is.
  8. Yep. Just add Pedro and Messi to that list too. Although, Alba was actually let go when he was a teenager but Barca bought him back this summer for €14 million.
  9. I know mate. I think everyone knows Busquets would never leave Barcelona. And even if Barcelona were to sell him (for whatever reason I can't think of) it would probably be for over 50 million. Barca only sell players when they have a suitable and better replacement, usually an upcoming player from La Masia. I just couldn't help but reply to the idiocy.
  10. Fucking hell. Fuck fuck fuck. EDIT: YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! :D:D
  11. CHAMAKH HITS THE POST! CHAMAKH HITS THE POST!
  12. Not only where the goal is... but he seems to know instinctively where each corner of the goal is... every time.
  13. 'We make lots of money. Lots of touches. But let's be clear on something, we win no trophies. Okay?' I really can imagine him saying this in the dressing room...
  14. Same with me mate. Obviously, just because I watch every Barca game it doesn't mean I know everything about football. I'm not a pretentious idiot. But it's really baffling how some people act like they know everything about Barca after watching one or two CL games, then go on to call the football they play 'boring'. Bleh.
  15. Sometimes it really seems like Arsenal are passing and passing and passing just so they can play a simple through ball between the opposition's CB and FB for Sagna/Gibbs to run onto and cut it back. Which begs the question: are they passing it about just for the sake of it? So predictable.
  16. Xabi, Schweinsteiger and Modric all play completely different roles than Busquets mate. And Modric has never once played as a DM.
  17. Let's not be small-minded here. I watch every Barca game and I'm going to say the exact same thing. He's the best DM in the world right now, and he's only 24. He's also exactly what we need in that position. You don't have to watch every Barcelona game to have an opinion on one of their players or to know how good a player Busquets is. So telling someone not to 'speak any words on the matter' or to 'close this thread' is just silly.
  18. I definitely don't think we should give up on Marin. He deserves a chance to show what he can do, just like any other player. Unfortunately for him and for us, he hasn't really had the opportunity to show what he can do yet because of injuries and attempting to break into the first-team. I just think we always be prepared for what may go wrong. Let's say Mata gets injured, then Moses, Oscar and Hazard are going to be our three main starters in the attacking midfield positions but they can't play every game. This leaves only one attacking midfielder to rotate with, Marin (assuming he's fit). I haven't yet seen enough of Piazon in the first-team to be fully convinced that he is capable of being a reliable back-up player. With someone like Isco added to our options, it wouldn't be a bad thing. And it would probably allow Piazon to go out on loan and get some experience if that's what the club feels is best for him. But I do agree. It's possible that Málaga would want to hold on to him. But they can only do so much to hold onto him when they're not paying him at all. But if we were to sign Isco, we would have to act fast. The more hype he gets, the higher that price tag will go and more and more teams will be interested.
  19. Not bad at all. Although if he hands in a transfer request we could probably get him for €10 million. I wouldn't mind getting Monreal from them either if Ashley leaves in the summer. He's a quality left-back.
  20. Ah yes. Forgot about that one. As horrible and incorrect as it is, there won't be as big a deal made about it as some other cases because he's not a Chelsea/United/City player. Fuck the media.
