  1. He built Chelsea via the transfer market, thats why.
  2. I guess Pique, Puyol, Villa and Abidal is insignificant.
  3. Disclaimer: I'm not saying Mancini is a good manager (I don't rate him at all). So, you guys are all right that man city should of won more titles with their crop of players.... However, if you think money doesn't play a huge role in Chelsea success. You are kidding yourself..
  4. O, I agree. I don't really know any better options that are realistically available (cept Hiddink). Also, Mou underachieved at Real. He won the league versus a depleted Barca team (granted Barcelona is probably one of the best teams ever to be assembled).
  5. City won the BPL title and the league cup with Mancini. Money plays a large role in success. You may need to go check yourself out to understand that...
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the locker room was divided because of his departure??? Also, Real Madrid lacks team unity, which is why they are so under performing with their roster. Anyways, back to your first question, I wanted Pep. Than Landrup. However, Pep is going to Bayern and Landrup will probably stay at Swansea, so I can't really answer that question.
  7. Largely with a team that was financed by Abramovich....
  8. Yet Chelsea should of won the UCl with Grant and Hiddink and they manage to win with RDM..... Says a lot when you don't have to worry about finances.
  9. I get the sentimentally feeling, since Mou brought Chelsea into worldwide recognition.. However, after all that drama at Real, I don't get why people would want him here.
  10. He has spoken to alot of his players for a while... So, what is your definition of cold?
  11. Half of our starting 11 will probably change. Probably winger, maybe both cms, Center forward, RB? and I don't think Mou would tolerate Luiz. Every team he's gone to, he has brought in players he wanted.
  12. I know what you were referring to in regards to Gerrard, that was pretty big news I remember... However, than both Terry and Lamps qualify as well than.... Also, in regards to Torres, Torres has been a terrible holdup player, loses possession quite often and miss quite a number of chances, however, the team setup was never made for Torres to succeed. This team was built for Drogba to do all the dirty work(holding up play/winning long balls or flopping) to get possession in the final third.. (I blame Chelsea terrible midfield) However as I stated before, I do agree with a lot of you guys, I hope Torres get sold, so Chelsea and Torres will both be better off.
  13. I guess poking someone's eye makes you a great person.
  14. I said players..... Meaning what type of wingers, Cm, forwards, etc.
  15. It's funny cause Sara Carbonero,Casillas gf even stated it ( why would the gf of the captain of Real madrid put hef bf in jeopardy by making false claims...) I'm pretty sure she would know a lot more than both of us.... Also, Barca has been doing that before pep. But than again, you probably didn't know that... It's pretty obviously what type of players Mou likes. He benches Modric and Kaka. So, you can imagine what type of starting 11 he would sent out...
  16. Frankly, I am not impressed by his resume at Real...(cept the Copa win over Barca) He won the league when Barca was crippled all year long and Barca were going to a fling of emotions knowing Guardiola was leaving them at the end of the season. He divided the locker room between the Portuguese and the Spaniards (imagine he does that between the Brazilians and the Belgians)... Mang, if it was not for Casillas, I could imagine a few personal splits between the Spanish National team.... Also, if people think hes going to play Oscar, Mata and Hazard or even KDB together. You guys are crazy. The only positive I see with him is bringing in new foreign talent.
  17. I love how Gerrard is a thug now... What does that make Jt and Lampard than? Liverpool was built around Torres to succeed. Look at other top players. Messi: Got rid of Ibra, eto and made Henry play as a winger RVP: Arsenal was built for him and even Man U, who purchased him late in the transfer window, changed their whole tactics to suit him. Balo: It's funny how at Man City, he was doing so poorly, however, after switching to Milan where he plays in the center(starts) and has a team working hard for him, he has been in great form. Ronaldo: Ozil and Di Maria look for Ronnie all game long for him to score, rather than taking shots for themselves. Look at the difference from Real madrid Ozil and Germany Ozil. So on and so on. You can blame Torres for missing his chances, losing possession, etc but you also have to take into consideration that Chelsea did not make a team for him to succeed and that injuries have played a significant toll on him... However, I do agree with you guys that he should be sold, to salvage both Chelsea and El nino looking forward...
  18. Were you guys really impressed with his stint at Real Madrid?
  19. I like to think he more of a winger/forward....
  20. LOl, I said the same thing before and half the board screamed "blasphemy" to me...
  21. Ozil was the best young prospect at that time. He was linked to Man U and probably was going to go to Barcelona if Guardiola yes it (Ozil loved Barca). Khedira, I agree with, he was pretty much made significant by Mou..
  22. It's hard to be consistent when your strikers are so wasteful... Also, if anything Oscar is.similar to ozil moreso than Mata...
  23. I don't get why people are thrilled with mou appointment.....
  24. Gosh, I was wondering how to change my name. I was on settings forever and trying to find it... Did you hit your 5 limit yet? If not, I prefer to have my name as BATMAN In all caps. Thanks
