Mahrez scored 17 goals last year, that is better than Alexis ever did in Premier league. His best scoring season was at Barcelona in La Liga with 19 goals He could go over 20 this year but you have to know that he is playing as striker I agree that he looks like a better natural scorer but he is also right footed which means that he can't cut inside on his stronger foot from right wing. Mahrez can and as far as I remember he has one hell of a left foot Mahrez is much better goalscorer than Hazard IMO, much better

I think it's the right move because we will control the game and possesion. Matić is still our second best midfielder but we would struggle to break them down with him and Kante in starting eleven

I love Conte even more now, he knows when to use Fabregas instead of Matić He will be our key to success tonight without Hazard because he knows how to unlock deep defense We will go out and control the game that is why we need Cesc, Matić is better suited for games where we tend to sit deep and play on counters CMON CHELSEA !!!

It doesn't work like this, I am sure that you would complain about results if players like Piazon, McEachran and Kakuta would play for us just because they were tagged as talented players. Every young kid with some skills is marked as talented player or "next Messi/Ronaldo/ nowadays but only few really develop into worldclass quality. If you can't make it in 2nd division or in midtable club than you don't have what it takes to succed in Chelsea. Simple as that. Look at De Bruyne, Lukaku and Courtois or something like Baker, Traore, Christiansen, Abraham, Ake and Baba are doing this season. Bamford (Crystal Palace, Norwich, Burnley) - 17 games, 0 goals - almost two seasons Gael Kakuta (Two seasons in Vitesse) - 34 games, 2 goals - compare it to Baker or Traore Is it really our fault? I am sure that Musonda will get his shot to prove himself Than we will see if he is worth it ... flashy skills doesn't make you a superstar player Jeremie Boga is 1 year younger than him and he is making a pretty good impact at better side in La liga

I don't follow La Liga or Valencia that much but probably his poor ratings are connected with overall poor form by Valencia? He should be available in January because they are close to relegation zone ?

You think he could play in two men midfield alongside Kante? I think we need all around midfielder that can bring best of both worlds ... Verratti seems like a dream transfer but I am not sure that he has enough discipline? Fabregas is also very good offensive and creative player but he lacks defensive contribution. I think we will sign someone "not so fancy" that can bring what Conte wants to the table (Fabinho, Brozovic, ....) That is why he trusts Matić so much even though he is not very good in creativity. This kind of midfield brought us success this year so far.

Willian is much better player on LW because he is right footed Don't push Hazard, give him a much needed rest Or maybe 352 with Fabregas and Bats whatever Conte decides to do will be perfect

It's hard to get quality players in January, especially if you are not keen to overpay them But I still believe that some quality players in underperforming teams could force they way out if Chelsea comes knocking at their door Verratti most certainly is not one of them ... If it means that we have to wait until summer to get quality than we will just have to wait. No panic buys please but if opportunity arises than we should grab it with both hands. Players like Van Dijk, Rodriguez, Mahrez, Creswell, Bernardeschi, Brozović, Camacho, Hector, Gaya and Kolašinac could be available for the right price and they could make our squad better in quality not just quantity

Azpi and Luiz should be first team but Cahill needs upgrade that is for sure. Him and Ivanović should be sold That leaves us with 3 CBs for 3 positions or maybe 4 if Christiansen is included in squad next year but I can't see him starting right away. We need at least 5 center backs for rotation because we will play more matches next year with Champions league knocking at our door Azpi (Zouma) - Luiz (Christansen) - Van Dijk 27 (22) - 29 (20) - 25 ... Defensive line for few years at least I know that CBs are least prone to rotation but I can see plenty of opportunity for Zouma and Christiansen with these back 5

Why do we rate them so high? Why do we rate every mid/bottom table club so highly lately?
