Wonder if Juventus are keen, he could take Di Maria's spot and give them a nice boost in US Marketing.
-
Wonder if they'd lower Caicedo's price with Gallagher going the other way...
-
I'd be highly surprised if Hall isn't sent out for a proper loan, he needs good minutes to develop (probably Championship). HG players next season would likely be: Bettinelli, Chilly, Reece, Sterling, Madueke, Gallagher, Colwill, Chalobah (if he isn't sold to raise funds).
-
Both him & McAllister are leaving, will be interesting to see which gem Brighton pick up in the transfer market as their replacements.
-
Finally, we can sell the deadwood and reduce the size of the squad...
-
that would be a dream but there's no way we get all of them, particularly with no European football next season. Caicedo won't be short on offers, same with Lavia (interest from both Newcastle & Man Utd and City have a buy back for him). I just hope its more than 1 midfield signing heading into next season. Ugarte - Enzo sounds good but we need competition in the side and different options, can't just bank on two midfielders (especially with Kova, RLC, Mount all linked with moves away and Kante's injury concerns).
-
I wouldn't say terrible management, we just buy players that don't really fit together. Signing Pulisic, Morata, Ziyech, Havertz, Mudryk, Sterling for 40+ million each...not to mention Lukaku for 90+ million in consecutive seasons is just poor transfer judgement. Only Lukaku had shown that he could consistently score goals, the rest of them were always known for their inconsistency and I doubt many people had actually seen Mudryk play for his previous club before we got the news out of the blue that we were hijacking the Arsenal deal (that they had been working on for 2-3 months).
-
The funniest part is...an injured Hazard would still be the best attacker at Chelsea right now....that's how far our standards have fallen since his departure to Madrid I do wonder what the club does with someone like Havertz as he won't be a 15+ goal a season striker for Chelsea and even Mudryk has looked horribly off the pace (so far), feel like Pochettino is in for a rough ride with our rubbish attack. At least he had Kane + Son at his previous club to score goals and get results
-
You would think the players will want to finish the season off on a good note (not another heavy loss) but I just don't see any player who will rise to the occasion and put in that type of performance... We haven't had that sort of player since Hazard left years ago.
-
This has nothing to do with training, the players gave up weeks ago. They're all in pre-season/holiday mode and just coasting through until they can finally say the season is officially over. The bigger concern moving forward is the lack of leaders in the first team XI. We can't go into next season with 50 year old Thiago Silva as the only 'captain' at the club...
-
Considering the amount they want, I'd rather wait for Caicedo than go for Ugarte.
-
Well said. Funny how as soon as all these Mount rumors start to heat up (going to United or Arsenal)...Reece posts a pretty cryptic message about people not doing the hard yards...
-
If Rashford is fit, feel like the scoreline could even end up 2 or 3 nil for them. Our boys struggle to score at home, don't see any of them turning up at Old Trafford and putting in a performance to remember.
-
City have the best squad (arguably) in European football at the moment and they are winning trophies. I don't see anything wrong with that. When we were winning league titles and other trophies under Mourinho, you could say that we (arguably) had the best team in the PL at that point in time. The reason why I just don't like United is because they don't have a good squad or amazing players but with Rashford or Bruno or someone else they seem to pop up at the right moment of the game, take the 50/50 chance and get the win. Them winning both domestic cups just feels wrong, especially when you consider they were killed by City in the league and even Klopp pulled their pants down on live tv and gave them a score line to remember.
-
City will score 2-3 easy goals and then go on second gear for the rest of the game. I'd be very much surprised if we can keep them to 2-0 without the likes of James, Kante, Badiashile, Chilwell etc.
-
I'd rather City win the treble, they've been the best side of the PL. I just can't support United, they had so much success with Sir Alex, nice to see them struggle alongside the rest of us.

More Americans as owners in the Premier League? Everton fans in for more pain in the seasons ahead
-
Where was the shade thrown? It's just facts. RLC would be at Crystal Palace or Fulham or one of those mid table sides right now. I get AC Milan taking a chance on him after their success with Tomori but it's a bit of a shock move considering the amount of injuries he's had to face and the fact that he hasn't progressed to the player we all expected (and lets be honest, he looked like a game changer in that one season where he had that run of games).
-
He won't play more than 10 games next season. His body is unfortunately giving up on him after playing so many minutes for Leicester, Chelsea & France....
-
There's no point in getting into a bidding contest with Arsenal over Declan Rice. He's a good player, no doubt about that...but so is Caicedo. I'd be happy with Caicedo + Lavia (if that's possible) to add some physical presence and much needed energy to our midfield.
-
It's the player getting the massive wage packets, luxuries in life and top level coaching on a daily basis. The better players know how to filter out the fan noise and impact the game. All this talk of fans, they pay to attend games and they have every right to boo players who are underperforming. If Cucurella was a 20 million signing from Brighton, no one would be saying anything...it's because the club decided to splash 53+ million on him and he has been borderline pathetic for most of the season (apart from a few games where he looked like a 7/10 player).
-
How does Cucurella relate to Colwill? Last time I checked Colwill's spent his whole career in England and you can just tell that he's a PL ready footballer. If Colwill doesn't make the step up at Chelsea, that's on the coaching staff as this kid should be able to rack up appearances like John Terry/Gary Cahill of previous years. Cucurella spent his whole career in Spain until he got a move to Brighton last season and even at Brighton, he wasn't their best defender by any stretch. He was always going to struggle at Chelsea as he's just not that level of player. I said it at the time of signing, it felt like the only reason we went after Cucurella was because City were interested in him (for a much lower transfer fee).
-
Does Chalobah stay though? Wonder if the club will look at selling him to help balance the books.
-
Put it this way, Declan Rice would be a luxury signing at the price tag West Ham want. Feel like there are plenty of other positions on the pitch that need to be looked at (e.g. a good goalkeeper, a good finisher up front) before we go and get mugged off by West Ham and end up paying them 120 million for Declan Rice (even though the nearest other offer would be from Arsenal at 70 million). No different to Mudryk (apparently Arsenal's offer was only 50 million + add-ons) and yet they somehow got us to spend 70 million on him...
-
if we're talking about world cup, Mount was hopeless when he was on the pitch for England and as soon as Southgate benched him, they looked like a different team with Foden in the starting XI... It's always hard to judge players on their world cup performance (e.g. Ziyech for his country and Ziyech for Chelsea is two completely different players)
