Costa, fabregas and hazard were on fire. Oscar was the fourth best, but his goals were a huge part of how well we played. The difference is he is no longer showing the energy and intensity to make those tackles and get into the box on the end of chances. Infact, if I remember well, fabregas and oscar did a lot of positional rotation in the first half of the season but all of a sudden he can't even move now. The reason why people are complaining is it happened last season, and its happening again. But I don't see anybody who is available and better than Oscar so I think people wanting us to sell are wrong. Koke is better than Oscar under pressure, you underrate him. He has awareness of his surrounding because he looks up before the ball rolls to his feet while oscar is always looking at the ground so he needs to take a touch, look up, before he can pass. And that could be the difference between finding a chance to put costa through and passing back to Matic because someone else can close you down before you get your head up.

Just because we are an English club, that's why I said English centerbacks but I get what you mean. Varane, koscielny, Zouma is a terrific combo

Modric, Verratti, Gundogan prime are the ones who combined strength, turning away from markers, and passing vision like xavi.Thiago is an even better dribbler, but he doesn't have the strength yet. If he has, and stops getting injured he'll reach prime xavi levels imo.

I'll go for England in centerbacks, Spanish midfielders, and southamerican attackers (strikers and wingers) They're the best in these positions.

I'm not sure we can get Pogba, too many teams want him. Koke would be a fantastic buy considering his assists ratio and chances created for a defensive team, I also love how he raises his head up before the ball rolls to his leg so he's already aware of who he passes to before the ball rolls to him(this is oscars weakness, he looks on the floor too much and doesn't raise his head to be aware of teammates) So Koke is the only one we can buy to improve, the rest are ifs and buts. We just have to make sure we buy starting line-up quality like we did this season with fabregas and Costa.

Enner valencia??? Wtf This is one of the reasons I don't want us to replace oscar, no available improvement replacement except Koke and reus.

How I wish we played him in a 4-3-3 in central midfield. That's where his abilities lie imo, he's not creative enough to be a attacking midfielder, that's why his keypasses are lower than 2 per match everytime. What he has is movement, especially if given small freedom which he has stopped doing. He also is a fantastic tackler for his size which he has stopped doing too. Hopefully he develops his stamina so that he can last a full season instead of quitting by February.

Its simple really, no other players have the close control dribbling ability like hazard, ribery and robben so they just pass and pass with players who preferred counterattacks under jupp heynckes. We need to find another hazard control dribbler out there, those guys are the one of the most important part of teams imo.

This just shows how good robben is. Without him, bayern are a second tier team
