Oh really ???? Portsmouth, Man City, Bordeaux X2, Hull, Sunderland X4, Blackburn X3 , West Brom X2, Bolton, West Ham, Southend, Watford X3, Aston Villa, Fulham, and Arsenal. I highlighted the teams I would reguard as sub standard. There are no easy games in the EPL with a few exceptions. You can only score against what ever is put in front of you. He said himself that he was in the best form of his life. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the whole team as a whole didnt do too well against teams you would consider....top of the table quality.

I can see him being another on a long list of youth players who'll eventually be sold. I wish him all the best.

I'd like us to win, but in all honesty the result doesnt bother me in the slightest. Its just another game to prepare us for the start of the season. If we hump them then brilliant, if we lose its not the end of the world. I'm confident we'll win though. I've a good feeling about this season.

UEFA found JT not guilty of "said" incident.

To my knowledge, Blackburn only have McCarthy and Roberts as recognised strikers. They sold Derbyshire too in the summer to some Turkish club I think, so FDS will get quite a few games. It'll be of more benefit to him than sitting on our bench getting a run out here and there.

Thats the point.....You see all those John 3:16 posters held up at games and it was a thought for something random to do to see how many different places we could get it seen.

I'm not keen on this idea of loaning out Mancienne. I was under the impression that Ancelotti would help develop him into one of the stars of the future. Yes he may gain valuable experience playing in Milan, but would it really benefit his progression as a player if he's just as likely to play as many games for us as he would for them? As for Pirlo.....I think he's looked way off his game in the last season or two. He's not exactly the type of player we need imo.

....Who do you think will be our stand out player this season ? Will Lampard flourish in his new role at the head of the diamond formation? Will the Drogba/Anelka partnership have teams running scared? Will JT dominate at the back after snubbing Citeh and committing to Chelseas future? Will Zhirkov be the surprise package? Whats your thoughts? :unsure:
