Couldnt agree more. He's been scoring regularly for Bolton and the chances we would create for him he should fit into the set up pretty easily. Its not like he's not gonna be match sharp. Get him straight into the mix I say. Pizarro doesnt exactly fill you with confidence as a lone striker.

Poor is being kind. Someone mentioned before he reminded them of Kuyt.....headless chicken and all that. Which is a good comparison. THeres a similarity with the way he's performing now and the way Sheva was when he first arrived. Difference being there was a bit of thought behind Shevas movement. Pizarro looks lost half the time. Obviously he needs time to find his feet in the team as he hasnt had much playing time, but once he's on he reminds me of school football players who just run and run and run after the ball with no great effect.

You see easily 10 - 15 tackles like that every weekend that result in a yellow card. It was a shocking decision. Unless Mikel is some sort of double-jointed contortionist then there was no way he could have went into that tackle any other way

Watching the game last night..... Malouda and Joe Cole were pish at corners last night. Belletti on the other hand was hitting the danger zone everytime. What pissed me off is seeing Riccy and Alex march for ward for the ball to hit the first man and get thumped up the pitch.

No reason why we couldnt play Belletti in midfield. He has 2 great feet and can go past players no problem. He has impressed me with his attacking play and would certainly provide something different while we have players missing.

Jimmy Floyd had a better chance of scoring in that game than Pizarro ffs

Ref was a twat. Mikels challenge was bad.....but not worthy of a red card imo. TO add to his inconsitency, Carsley should have seen red for 2 shit tackles and Neville should have joined him in the 2nd half. WTF was he doing taking off Pizarro and bringing on Ferreira ??? I have to say.....thats the best half of football we've played in some time. Pizarro looks lost :huh: Gotta get Sahar on and give him a chance. Everton arent looking like threatening us at all. We havent created a lot of clear cut chances, but we're all over them. Everton will probably close it up and try to go for one on the break and hope for something in the return leg. Yeah....I read that on another forum. I dunno whats going to happen tbh, but David Murray is a shrewd businessman and he'll have looked into this in a lot of detail before making it public of the clubs intentions. Wheres all the money gonna come from too, will we be seeing another Arsenal style "name the stadium" project or is there another avenue being taken to fund the new plans. Either way.....I'll hold my judgement until its become clearer on any decision made.
