This is absolutely true! although, if you look carefully it is not a talent issue, the teams as a whole are worse.

Great English Article about CWC, worth a read. http://www.guardian....ub-championship

It is stupid how people get caught up in the stereotype. I know many fans dont know a lot about international football, but why are you better? Give me the lineup, qualities and deficiencies of Ulsan Hyundai you just played yesterday? You talk about European Capsule while your country only pays attention to NFL, NBA, MLB, etc! There are some fans who really know about tactics, abroad teams, etc. That knows about football in general. Also, the staff we have prepare the club really well and does not get stuck with general arrogancy. Btw, Monterrey is not good. They are not bad and they have some natural flair talent in the attack, but they struggle defensively and if the GK isnt in his best days you are fucked.

YEAAAH, I just got my "likes" back! Well, I gave them to all the posts I could remember. If anyone is missing, sorry, you will forever have -1 in your reputation.

What would you guys do without me? LOL. ESPN: Who is better at the games you play? OSCAR: I am much better at COD, in FIFA as well. LUIZ: How come? We have never player football. E: Oscar decides not to embarasse David and then David chooses the car simulator. O: The pressure is all on the other side. L: Behave, I wont order your food at the restaurant next time. ... L: Film me winning (to camera men), Respect the older (to Oscar). I schooled him, I told you I am better! O: He only won it once, I always win in COD, FIFA, PES, etc. L: Lets play the real game then? Come on! O: OK. L: There (poll table) is the show. Whoever loses go under the table? O: Yes! ... L: Guys, he is blind! (when Oscar missed the ball) ... L: Come here puppy! Good boy. ... O: I let him win, I wont humuliate him in his own house. L: He only comes here because of the food. O: Well, how can I not accept that? E: Increasingly more adapted in England, their friendship only gets stronger and Chelsea can only benefit and be thankful for that. (shows some photos) P.S.: I dont know what happened to the whole interview, ESPN Brasil used to have it. It was about 20-30min long and they talked about UCL, Chelsea new attacking mentality, Corinthians, life in England, their friendship, etc. P.S.: This is the worst translation in the world, please dont judge me. I am fucking tired, it was only to give an idea!

Mate, how stupid are you? You are the one being influenced by the media. Read the threads here and you will start respecting Chelsea fans. Stop believing the stupid Brazilian Media, they are all trying to make European and American people look like arrogant pricks. It is the same as CNN trying to make every arab descendent look as a terrorist. This is abosutely bullshit. Btw, you are only 26mi and most of which cant even buy a cup of tea. Second, CFC had a 200k parade on May 20th and you praise 15k fans at the airport? Chelsea has more Japanese fans than what you will have at the stadium. We brought 40k to Munich! The only thing I do agree with you is that you guys are fucking loud. CHELSEA WORLD CHAMPIONS!

I think your defense and goalkeeper are a bit worse than what you discribed, but an immense thanks for the info!

I promisse you I wont disappear until March (when I get back to college). I usually take a part job or a trainee program at the summer break but this time I havent found anything that interested me, I will be totally free then. My routine allows me to be online most of the time though, I use the computer while having class and I basically study with distance education programs, so I am also online while studying. I can be on TC and still do my duties, which I am thankful for. Things will certainly change once I start working, but I still have a good 4 years before it happens. I can promisse you I will do my best!

There are a lot of books, I sincerely dont know which are good and which are pure crap. The ones I have indicated I already read, so I can tell you they are good. I am sure there are more great ones out there, though. The thing is, a coaching bible is like a grown up men`s diary. Each person has its own way of understanding the world. If you would be able to read 2 top coach`s book, they would explain the same tactic in 2 different ways, ultimately getting to the same conclusion. The bible is more of a cheat, down deep you already know everything there, it is basically the summary of your knowledge and life. There is no secret, it is not like a mcdonalds burger receipt...

I dont have ITV, someone posted the documentary but I didnt have time to watch it just yet. Being a coach is just like any ohter profession. It has your study + experience. You will have to read books and be taught by someone good (Mourinho was a translator at Barcelona and Porto and Pep learned from the best at La Masia). Since I got into my college team I have learned a lot, I dont see a game for entertainment anymore, I automatically search for tactics. It is even involuntary... Add to the list (but those are not priorities): The Football Men and Why England Lose.
-
A very praised book about football tactics. Football Tribe is another good book, but it is about personalities. Carlo and Ferguson biographies are also excellent, it gives you an idea of what being a coach on a regular basis is.

Aint giving you my tricks babe. Try reading "Inverting the Pyramid", it is a hell of a starter!

I have a strange feeling Torres will make a shocking move to Atletico!
-
Will he score as many goals as Torres in just one game?
-
They first need to win it, then they can worry about the fact Ligue 1 is not challeging! PSG think they have already won it without even playing, they arent even second. La Liga is also shit, but at least the rivalry makes the two giants focus on every single game...

Everytime someone writes Falcoa it reminds me of Cocoa. Then I remember Chocolat comes from it and that Falcao and Cocoa/Chocolat are awesome!

I know, they were only observations! 1. I think an open poll is more transparent and it gets rid of conspirancy theories, even though it is less private and might influence votes (although unlikely). 2. I have looked at the winners (which is outdated btw) and it has only happened twice. However, if the previous winner wasnt allowed to enter the poll, members could focus on new contenders and the outcome could even be different.

I want Jose back, he was the only one who defended the club.

Not way up in Heaven and not way down to Earth... 1. Benitez did a good job vs ManCity, adjusting our defense and obtaining our firt clean sheet in quite some time. It seemed as he was able to give clear oders on each player`s role. 2. He kept the system for Fulham and it did not work out, since it was not the same objetive as ManCity game. It was an OK performance and it was too early to judge. 3. West Ham game was perfect in the first half, we were looking like the begining of the season, everyone was happy. Then, he didnt do anything in the dressing room and the team had a huge blackout. Benitez couldnt ajust the team and made bad changes. Horrible result and Rafa takes a big part of the blame. 4. Nords and Sunderland, Rafa prepared ourselves pretty well and we are looking good. I know it wasnt much of a test, but we were looking bad even against shit teams. Our team is way better balanced and the players doesnt seem lost (clear reflect of good training sessions). He still needs to learn how to adapt to possible situations and adversity and to make great substitutions. Like i said, Benitez has his good sides and his down sides. He deserves some complements and some criticism!

What are you talking about? Are you using a popular saying as an argument? Do you watch La Liga? WTF, I cant belive I will have to argue on the topic of Bracelona being great defensively because they had a better defensive record in Liga BBVA! Teams play differently against different opponents, Barcelona`s center backs are the only issue that bothers the whole city. They couldnt win vs Hercules at Camp Nou, conceded vs a 10 men Chelsea, always conceding in setpieces (specially in the derby), etc.
-
Yes! Barcelona used to play against opponents 110% behind the ball. Inter made everyone think they would be able to score a miracle goals while defending with 10 men. Real Madrid was losing everything and oppositons thought they had a better chance, so they actually played the games. Also, last season, the goals RM conceded were usually when they were already winning, while Barça had inumerous comebacks. Last season, Barcelona lost the title because of their horrible defense!
-
100%, I absolutely loved us. Unfortunately, this is not what Roman really wants and all I was doing was trying to read what he ultimately desires.
-
For me, Barcelona is a model of how Roman wants us to be remembered (successful, good football, mystic, etc). I dont think he wants us to necessarily play the tik-taka bullshit. I believe he would be more than proud if we stick with our identity and still manage to make an impact. Now, that he wants Pep is a very wide open-secret! EDIT: I think Klopp, Guardiola and Mourinho all have a chance of landing here. We will have to wiat how things go...

Does anyone have a gif of Mancini reaction when Tevez couldnt score?
-
2/3 men wall is the most stupid thing in football. it doesnt really block the kicker`s angle and it makes the defending team vulnerable on high balls. Hart couldnt even position himself, pathetic! Praise to Manure though, RVP and Rooney is a whole other level.
