This opens the oppostion's line and makes it easier for diagonal infiltration, leading to a good goal possibility. They also cant cross because no one is taller than 180cm. Barcelona doesnt have those weapons, it either rellys on Messi to finish with the game or thier through balls have to work. Pep's team had an incredible movement (ball and players), even with a good back 4, teams would suffer. Tito's team, on the other hand, looks very static. This is good training sessions and tactical ability (Barcelona would always change to 3-4-3 when the game was too one sided), something people dont give Guardiola credit for.
