  1. LOLI am chill, all I am saying is that you cant say I dont like him if you havent read my posts. Not an anger at all. LMAO P.S: I have edited the above post.
  2. I would kindly ask for you to read my posts on Sturridge and Transfer Thread before saying anything about howI feel about him.I said Danny is the type of player that will never fit here. He is too good to be benched all the time but will never be world class to lead our line. He is the type of player who will do great in Liverpool but once he goes to a top side with a very top striker, he wont work. Staying here, he will remain forever unhappy,he will always be a great second option, nothing more than that. I said this because he said we should try to ask for more money because they have overpayed in shit players. He needs background to suport his opinion and he clear does not have. Henry's open letter (which does not bear me any interest as well) explicit says he wont do it anymore. I reckon he is worth more than £12m, but due to the circunstance, it is not a bad business. We wont regret selling him, we will have Falcao.
  3. I did not say you had to, it was just a question. Since I did, I thought someone might have seen it too. I saw it on a skysports talkshow, he said he wouldnt overpay for players anymore. It wasnt really that, but that was what he meant. It was an answer to Rodgers reaction when they lost Dempsey to Spuds. Rodgers saidaomething about him not being interesting in improving and investing on the team and he replied to him (denning and explaining he would not make the same transfers mistakes he once did). I think Sturridge is worth £15m+, but due to the circunstance it wasnt so bad.
  4. No it is not, have you read Henry's open letter to Loserpool fans?
  5. Very sad, terrible news. I hope it is benign! Be strong!
  6. How bad can we play and still manage to win it?
  7. Well, if this deal is as close to be done as Hulk or Neymar, I will be very happy. They were both extremely close to be happening.
  8. No, he is more of an Newcstle Jets type of player than ours. LOLHere is the thing, there are some players who werent made for big teams, they need to often be on the pitch because they are too good to be waisted, but they dont belong in a winning starting eleven. For instance: Adam Johnson, Sturridge, Defoe, Walcott, Jelavitc, Taarabt, Coloccini, Bent etc.
  9. We wont regret selling Sturridge. He does not belong here, Danny is too good to be benched all the time, but he is not good enough to lead our team. Sorry, it will never work. He will always be unhappy or criticized if he were to be our senior striker I am sure we will see him thrive, at Liverpool maybe. However, we will have someone big as #9, so not a problem.
  10. People need to sort it out. 1. We need to stop buying young players but when it comes to Falcao we should look for a promissing ST instead. People often criticize our team because it is too young and cracks under pressure, well, Falcao will certainly help. 2. People say we go aftert he big signings and they are always flop. We only had 2 flops who were bought in a total decline (clearly not Falcao). All our other players turned out alright, remember the fuss about Drogba? Back then it was our biggest transfer. RM (as a buying team like us) did not hesitate in buying big names like Ronaldo because they alsohad a history of flops. This is what any big spending team is exposure. 3. 47million for Falcao is a lot, but we have top competition and itis January. RVP was at the last year of his contract and went for 27mi, that is pretty high too, at a normal transfer it would hit 40million. 4. Falcao will return his investment even if he doesnt play like he is used to in Atletico and was in Porto. Shirts sales, turism, colombian fans, etc. It does balance what we pay, it just doesnt appear in the finances as "Falcao's return". LOL 5. Some fans expect us to buy a LB, DM, CM and CF if we dont use the money on a big striker. Well, let me tell you something: no one will come, at least not in this transfer window. It willbe Falcao and a cheap DM (or loan). Also, if we buy Falcao it does not mean we wont buy the necessary players next season. We all know Roman's goal and it will only be achieved by sticking with a top manger and top players. Lastly, anyone arguing that Falcao will be a flop because of Sheva or Torres should just rethink their opinions. This is just nonsense, players arent the same. Also, dont go over this belief that the money from Falcao would be used for other gaps in our team or tha he wont be a profitable signing, because we all know this isnt true. However, if you want to do a tactical analyses on why he wont fit or why he isnt good enough for our team, feel free to convice me. I will be the first to say I was wrong.
  11. It seems I will get a chance to prove my point!
  12. I know, this does not prove anything, but you cant deny it looks gay!
  13. Mate, 1. It was a joke, and you you need to calm down on your defences of Ibra. 2. If you dont know, there are many married gay people who is just afraid of the conseguences. 3. This is no bromance, this is some homo looks.
  14. Add to what Toronto said the fact he did not wanted Sheva.
  15. So stupid! I would want Ibra on my team, despite him being homo...
  16. How many times has he put a smile on your face? Lampard derseves our attention more than any other player or youth. If he wants to stay, make him stay.Sometimes the player knows he cant really play at that kevel anymore, but he still want to participate in the routine of being a player. He wouldnt be a left-back (lol), he would play as squad player in CM. Giggs is a great example of that and there is nothing shameful to see him on the bench. Keeping him on the team is bigger than all of that. Others (like Drogba) dont want this unimportant act, so they go to these new markets (China, US, Brasil). I am not sure which type of player Lamps is, but I would be more than happy to see him on the team (playing or not).
  17. 1. 2008 UCL 2. CWC 3. Barcelona UCL 2009 (Semi) 4. Liverpool UCL 2005 (Semi) 5. Rafa and Torres 6. 1962 Relegation 7. Spuds League Cup 2008 (Final) 8. Millwall Fa Cup 1995 (Fourth Round) 9. Manure (All of it) 10. Jose and RDM sacking
  18. Son of a btich, I bet any CFC player would get a 5+ ban.
  19. Yes, I agree. However, just like you said with Scolari, Rafa will turn out to be a huge mistake. As of right now, for me. it still is Felipao. Rafa has a big chance of taking his spot though!
  20. I know Lampard isnt the same, but he still good and players have massive respect for him. If Lamps accept a role similar to Gibbs, we must keep him. I believe we would all be sad if he doesnt retire here. About Pijanic, he is above average, nothing special. Of course he can turn out to be great, but he would not solve our problems, I much prefer a struggling Oscar in the pivot.
  21. Our worst manager will turn out to be the Fat Spanish Waiter, just watch. Everything suronding him is completely wrong. At this rate, he will leave us with no trophy or UCL.Look: Grant was whaleshit, but he had a top squad (greatest Mourinho legacy) and Steve Clark. Big Phill does not know how to play good football and he has no eye for talent. However, he did make Alex and Anelka better players and he left us in a decent EPL and UCL position.
  22. No offense to Pjanic, but he is no Lampard.
  23. The problem is not the formation, since real life is not like FIFA and in a good team with decent tactics and movements the players actually swap positions and changes formation depending on the situation. There is no such thing as a static 433, 4231, 41212, 352, etc. It changes with possession, scoreboard and mentality. Any formation is useful and successful if they are performed by the right players and manager. My personal favorite is 4-3-3, but it wont make us any better, we need players with stong characters and a manager to make it thrive. Any formation we try we this squad will leave a flaw somewhere. That leaves us to the real problem: players, board, owner and staff. Players: What we have is not a team, it is a bunch of players thrown to play together. They dont complement each other in any possible way (experience, style, leadership, etc). We lack quality in some positions, leardship in others and commitment where its left. Apart from Cech (who isnt even playing well), every position need or will need some improvement. We can try to play 4-1-2-1-2, but it will just move our problems to another area of the pitch. There is no way out, the only thing we can do now is accept we have done some horrible moves and they will need to be repaired. We will lose a lot of money, but there isnt other way. RM was exactly like us, buying load of players that would never fit together and when Mourinho came, he basically bought a whole new team. I dont really think we are that bad, but we are far from good. Board: There is no fucking hierarchy and it will kill us if nothing is done about it. Of course there is also incompetence, but the lack of a decent division of power is much worse. It is Roman Abramovich and everyone else trying to suck his cock. We dont have executives with clear roles and magnitude of power. No one reports to anyone and everyone reports to Roman. This makes comunication non existing, useless issues are taken care twice and important manners are left aside. This is insane, a high school bowling team has a better hierarchy than a giant european club. Once this is done, we can start evaluating who is capable and who needs to be replaced. Owner: I am immensily happy with you. BUT, decide whether we are a buying team or a developer. If we are going to buy the best players, there is no need to spend loads of money in a unnecessary expensive academy and vice-versa. Also, stop being friend with the players... Staff: Get a fucking manager, stick with him and make him in charge, trust the fucking guy for once. Let him have a say in the transfers and build up of the squad. Any good manager (with money) is able to find the players that suit his desired formation and style of play. He needs no absurd pressure and he cant be a cunt who will get booed by the fans. Ultimately, hire someone in the summer (Jose hopefully) and let him work hard and well. So, analyse the problems and fix it, for fuck sake, stop using bandaids for CFC!
