Alright, last time we played Villa on Stamford Bridge and won it was 7-1 and 4 Lampard goals...
-
IVANOVIC!!! 3-0 What did you say?
-
LOL From 7th to 3rd place!
-
GOLAZO!!!! NICE FREE KICK LUIZ! 2-0
-
The good thing about Luiz in the pivot is that he can do this losing the ball shit and we still have our defensive line intact.
-
It is so good to see Lampard on the pitch!
-
YEAAAHH! GET IN THERE TORRES, GREAT HEADER! 1-0
-
LETS TRASH THIS PUB TEAM!

LOL I am writing on the mobile skin, so I usually edit after posting. Give me sometime! We wont reach a common sense, so I will keep rating the managers and you wont. Agree to disagree. Lets concentrate on Chelsea vs Villa...

Mate, I never said the managers or CEOs are the reason for everything good or bad. What I am saying is that they do make a difference. Yes, ManCity or a Company with the right investments will succeed no matter who is incharge, but with a great staff, they go further. Lets just look at some tech companies: Microsoft without Gates, Apple without Jobs, etc. Same applies for Football Clubs, the coaching staff is very important (not only the manager). I recognise we grossly overpay for the managers, but top one is necessary.

Young wasnt in his best diving days, so no...

That guy clearly hasnt ever played in a football team... What I am trying to say, ManCity is a team like he said (players, money, patience, infrastructure, etc) and look how stupid they look on the field because of their brilliant manager. Everyone has its value, managers included. I do agree we should stop making them the reason of success, but they are very important indeed. P.S: I know who he is, respect the man and I agree with most of his articles in The Observer, but there are some apsects of the game that only who played it understand.

MUST SEND RVP OFF! EDIT: WTF??? COWARD!!!
-
CHOULO, stop posting things I would write. I have alreay liked 3 consecutives posts of yours...

Yes, we were in a better position and we could build a sqaud with a lot less money. However, ManCity has already spent 1billion in 4 years, should have been enough for a super squad. Yet, they still couldnt do anything spetacular. If we compare the buying power we had and they have, it would be the pratically the same. Chelsea in 4 years was way better than Mancity now, so it is not solely money that brings it all. All I am trying to say is that Mourinho has a good portion of our success (and so has everything else). It is not only Ranieri, Roman and Fans...
-
Well, I do hope so! Not getting my hopes high though.
-
Money is a big part, but not 95%, 75-80%. Tell that to ManCity, if it was not for there lucky or fixed goal, money would have only brought 1 FA Cup.
-
Expecting a late winner from RVP... EDIT: Yeah, no late winner! 1-1
-
In your latest post, you try to find one reason to exclude the other. It is not like that! We won because of Ranieri`s quality and vision, Roman`s money, Mourinho`s superb job, our fans (we were amazing in the back-to-back titles) and the players commitment and talent. It is all added together...
-
Yes, that is true, but it would have been one of the biggest mistakes of our history. I think a coach must have a big say (more than our shit board), but not a full control (like SAF and Wenger). It would make us change the dictator from the owner to the manager. I belive a healthy and respectful relation between Roman and Whoever Gets the Job is the best going foward.

I have, but I was on the mobile skin and I dont remeber clicking anything. Now I have changed it to the full version, but I cant seem to unfollow it, it doesnt do anything when I click on it. P.S: iOS.

When a club is bought by a billionaire, it wants to buy the biggest stars and make that big impact. We had our time and no one can say it hasnt paid-off, Mancity had its time in 08-11 and PSG is having its time as we speak.I agree we are horrible at finding bargains, but people often only rember the players who worked and not the long list of flop promisses. There is always a gamble when buying those "small names", but they are amazing when they thrive. We are starting to mix big stars with promissing and talented small names (Azipi and Moses). However, we need to do it more frequently. It will improve our depth, ego management and finances. I just dont think we will ever get a trully bargain, we always have to pay more. A bargain CB or Pivot or Backup Striker would be more than welcomed, but I do think we need a very big senior CF.

Mourinho has way more credid at Porto, Inter and RM than what you are making. At the begining with Porto, he had a great squad from the past manager (cant remeber the name but he was one of his mentors), but they had no belief. His man mangerment was superb! At Inter, he got a squad who was only good for Italy and made them Champions of Europe. You must be thinking it is FIFA, because saying that he didnt build the 2010 squad is at least just wrong. Buying 3 of their most important players at that time, recovering others and convicing everyone to give their all isnt enough I guess. Mourinho made Eto'o defend (it is like asking Ibra to be polite), made Lucio stop his attacking adventures (the same ones Luiz has) and recovering Cambiasso are some of the improvements he brought. No wonder they went downhill (not only the team, but the players as well). Chelsea was Jose's best ever job and I think we would have won it all if we didnt lose to Loserpool (ghost goal). He was excellent in every way. However, that doesnt mean he was not great at all of his other clubs. At Real, he got a bunch of good players who hated each other and didnt care for anything more than indivudual success. He took a team that couldnt even beat Barcelona nor pass Round of 16 of UCL and transformed them into the second best team in the world. Again, it is much more than the tranfers itself. He will leave them light years ahead from what he received. Building a squad is very very difficult, I think a top manager is as important as having top players. And Mourinho is a very top one. If Jose and Pep go to Manchester, I very much fear for our future...

At the very first games the media impact will do, but down the road you are right, he will need to perform. There is no way for any of us to convince the other, we will have to wait to see if he really comes and if he performs.

The first two points are completely true for casual and abroad fans. Dont try to deny the increase in marketing revenue big sigings have. The sponsor aspect is more of better deals due to the increase in media impact. The fans we get are the plastic ones (that usually follow the trend), but they still bring money. I am experiencing it with Oscar, our shirt sales and media exposure has almost double because of him.The "mental impact" is true, in any sport. For instance, dont you think RG3 worries his opposition and cheers his teammates?
