  1. Henrique is super hyper controversial, but he actually makes the forum funnier and better. He will fail hard just like this year's kit though!
  2. I hope Torres doesnt even play!
  3. Hahahaha, Bild? At least Brazil would be back on track to not failing big time in 2014!
  4. I dont think it was undeserving, I know it has been against all odds and we were the underdogs, but luck and efficiency is part of the game. It is ugly to only defend, but it is not against the rules...I would only put it as undeserved if we had robbed or if the ref did a major mistake that helped us! TC meet up for our next UCL final would be epic!
  5. The parade must have really been something, I tried to go, but my girlfriend at the time had her birthday at the 22nd, meaning I would not get in time for it if I had not taken the plane at the 20th. The next UCL I will definetly go to London to watch the game, I have already been at the Stadium, now I want to be at the city! I thought we would win UCL every year until Carlo left, then I thought we would never win it because the opportunities had passed (a bit like Palmeiras with Libertadores, who tried hard to win and only did it after losing the first 4 finals). But I agree with you, if Mou comes back, I think he will win UCL in the course of his 3-4 years with us!
  6. Which means his teams don't win the game, which means nobody will remember the first two thirds, which means people will remember him as a choker! I really wish he wasn't a failure in the big games because I actually really like him, but he is indeed a failure in the biggest 3 games of his career so far (and it isnt a small one, he is already 29). He has had good games, like you said, but hasnt delivered in the end, which is what ultimately matters. I got impressed with him against Barcelona though, he was immense. If Bayern comes to win UCL with him being a big part of it, then you can say that at least in the club level, he has redeemed himself...
  7. I only have one big memory and that is actually the Sunday morning of May 20th... I woke up at around 7-8am after parting and drinking like a crazy dude and the city was so quiet and so beautiful (it was strangely sunny) that I decided to leave the hotel and show off my Chelsea top. I think our win hadnt yet sinked, so walking alone around random streets close to Marienplatz, I had an enormous breakdown, I started celebrating and crying like if I had Autism and I had finally realised we were Champions of Europe and remembered everything we went through to get there! It was my weird little moment, but I will never forget. The rest of our glory moments were me alone in the couch celebrating, since there are obvious no "Chelsea friends" or "Rivals to prank" in Brazil. I cant go to any parade the day after as well.
  8. Will just quote what I posted in the English Football thread...
  9. I only tried London Pride, I personally didnt like it...
  10. It seems pretty awesome!
  11. Me telling you that you played much better helps? To stay on topic, Robben is one of the biggest chokers of football history, he simply doesnt show in big games!
  12. Someone told me that Newcastle has the best nightlife, is it true?
  13. Rio is shit, it really is (imo). The size of your fun equals the size of your pocket, the great clubs where the hot girls are at cost a small fortune to get in (around 200-300 dollars) and the drinks inside cost triple of what you would pay in a normal place. The music will vary from absolutely great to utter shit in seconds, they dont even let you enjoy two consecutive good songs, lmao. I hate the extorsion at their nightclubs and pubs, totally unfair, just because they receive a lot of Europeans, they think everyone can handle their prices! If you are tight on money, it will be absolutely frustrating to have fun. Some small things will start to bother you (like paying to use the bathroom, wtf?) and this will totally ruin your night. However, if you have no budget, it will have the best ever night of your life: girls, music, alcohol, amazing sightseeing, ocean, etc. You can indeed have fun with low money, but it will be a very Rio stuff. Samba, loud places, tables on the sidewalk, churrascos e feijoadas, etc. If you enjoy it, brilliant, if you want anything different, be prepared! Also, be aware with the beaches late at night, they are as lovely and beautiful as they are dangerous. Rapes and robberies, specially to eastern europe people... I dont want to ruin your expectation, but I must warn you!
  14. The reason Oscar was 25mi is because Brazilian market is inflated and the reason why Coutinho went for 10mi was because Inter tried everything they could and he still failed. But I get your point and there is no arguing with it, he either lives up to the expectation or he leaves... I think he has done a lot, like socring most of our European goals and giving balance to Mata and Hazard, but he did not have that great of a season. I just think people overreact when they analyze Oscar's first year at Chlesea. One because the adaptation really is tough, specially outside the football pitch (language, food, city, friends, etc). And second because I think our roller-coaster FSW season has prevented him from flourishing. This has obviously influence, but the real problem is the FIFA U-20 WC. The team was supposed to built around be Neymar, Coutinho and Lucas. However, he failed badly and Oscar took his position throughout the tournament, with amazing displays and a hattrick in the final, he caught the eyes of everyone! On the professional NT, he got the opportunity after Ganso's injury and never had one single bad game, so no one doubts him anymore. If he continues to play like this in Liverpool, he will get the chance (specially because Kaka and Ronaldinho are aging), but until now, he hasnt done anything to make him deserve the place...
  15. As you have seen, my venom was very sharp today, I blame my terrible mood (it was on par with the day of the Hall of Fame breakdown)... It has already stopped and not happening again, messaged the members I have offended (and wrongly so) today and I hope everything will be resolved! Add alcohol, girl and a forum with a bad temper and you get me throwing stupid digs at undeserving members, sorry! Yeah, I hope you return with Chelsea in 3rd and with UEL Final secured! :woo:
  16. @Leif, All I asked was for you to tell me what were the 11 games he started in the middle and actually give facts on why you think Coutinho is the better player. Since I told you that your post had no useful information nor arguments explaining what made you think Oscar was the one who least impressed you, I havent received one single football related quote. You simple gave assists, goals and appearances and did not elaborate on it. I wasnt trying to be offensive at first, I answer like this to everyone (read the discussion I had with The Mak). I just stated that your interjection had little meaning and gives no real arguments to the topic that was being debated. Had you simply answered the 'concerns' I raised, this would have gone down as normal as any other discussion this forums has!
  17. I know, but since I call him PMS (because he is the only male who suffers from it), he honored me! Your dog looks awesome! and high...
  18. Agreed with most of it, but I think he will actually score something between 25-30 goals and Lewandowski will not be only 25mi... Overall, yeah, not worth 50mi, but if he is our only option (meaning Cavani to PSG and Lewa to Bayern), I dont see that huge of a problem!
  19. LOOOOL, thanks for reading it! As far as Falcao's success, banging 25-30 and leading us to a trophy would be called a hit...
  20. I didnt mention you at all, but if the cap fits, wear it!
  21. @Ollie, it took me all day to read your post, amazing stuff!
  22. I am very good actually, 1-1 and losing on penalties to Santos is not shameful (which lately has been all I hope for)...
  23. Well, at least someone is intelligent enough to make football points and explain them! Coutinho is more prolific at dribbling and running past defenders because that is his style, a bit like Lucas Moura. Oscar, on the other hand, is more like a Pirlo or Modric (or even Lampard) type of player, they can all do fancy tricks, but it is just not part of their game. You will always see Coutinho making more headlines (if they were actually at the same level) than Oscar because that is just his thing. Oscar did not have a very good season, like almost all our team, but this is his first ever season in a super different league. If the style of football in Brazilian to Italian Series A is already very apart, imagine Brazilian Serie A to EPL. He actually adapted very well, IMO. Remember he is the first real talented player to that direct transition in history... I guess that Liverpool's current form and the love the media has for them make the minds of highly influenced kids (not that you are one, but you understand), but Oscar has been much better throughout all of his career and this shows in the NT. Have you never asked yourself why Coutinho doesnt even make the cut? That is because managers have seen a lot of him at Vasco and Inter and they werent impressed, it is not 2-3 good months that would change their minds! Overall, Coutinho has been a good surprise to all of us (specially who have seen him failing at Italy), but he cant be put in the same sentence as Oscar. Our little number 10 is considered one of the very best promisses of football and this is no joke. I have no doubt he will have a great next season and Coutinho will start to have inconsistency (specially at big games). At the long run, Oscar will be by far the best player!
