I was like the cool kid who studied. I have/had nerdy frends and popular ones... That is very weird mate, sports fans are the cool kids in general. Those people who are ussally lost during PE or the people who are very very shy and dont talk are the ignored ones. However, I get upset when I hear people have cool classes that they can choose in high school, while I was having all that boring useless stuff. Apart from that, I fucking loved high school. I miss the parties, sports events, girls, the gossip (lol), etc. It was fun!

Which is way better, because you already selected the group of people you are teaching to. When you are in high school, there are every sort of people with every sort of tastes, there is no need to teach 'in depth' math subjects to future designers and biologists or to teach advanced botanic to future engineerings (for instance).This shit is just to make Brazilian education ranking rise in the international polls. It is not about the amount of stuff you teach and rather the quality in which you do it. It doesnt help to put enormous amounts of topics to study if you dont provide decent professionals and infra-structure for the students to learn. Fucking ridiculous!

Good for you and whoever more that only have to study basic stuff + the subjects you choose. In Brazil, you need to take all classes and they go very deep in it (even if you want to take a biology in University, you will have to learn logarithm and how to integrate, for instance). This counts for every subject (geography, history, chemistry, etc). I was accepted in Mechanical Engineering and even then I had botanic classes like this one when I was in high school. Totally useless! I know, that is why it is so amazing. Her teacher did it in 50min while explaining it. I would take 50min only to draw the first circle, lmao...
