  1. That ball was always going in. Even if Remy didn't make it in time, Oscar was just by his side. Perfect assist from Hazard.
  2. I didn't think I was gonna say this but Willian is looking like a different player today.
  3. Zouma! What a breath of fresh air having someone on the right who takes the duel.
  4. Didn't look like anything major to me. I was actually surprised that Ramires came on for him.
  5. Collided with Terry during a tackle.
  6. Willian is starting to get on my nerves.
  7. Just gonna stop by and say I found the fourth goal cringeworthy, that should have never happened. Plenty of defensive mistakes watching the highlights however the fourth goal felt plain wrong, like I was watching sunday league or something.
  8. The interception was good by Cahill. However before not only did he back off but I also thought he could have intercepted that ball before it reached its target.
  9. That's some next level fail. The only thing he didn't predict completely wrong was City being a strong contender but that was the easiest one to predict and I bet he thought they would be #1 in the EPL right now ("will be the biggest threat to City"), and not playing the catch up game with us
  10. Oh, it's Club World Cup, fair enough. It's weird anyway. On Whoscored Isco has only 1 goal in the World Cup, in Transfermarkt he has 1 goal and 1 assist. Whoscored is usually right though. Isco: Whoscored.com - 4 goals, 5 assists. Goal.com - 3 goals, 5 assists. (CWC not included). Transfermartk - 4 goals, 10 assists. Espn.com - 4 goals, 7 assists. Honestly I haven't slept this last night so I'm tired and not willing to dig the truth behind the numbers.
  11. But I don't know, those look completely fucked up. For example, they add Isco's goals and assists at the World Cup but not Oscar's.
  12. According to Whoscored.com you only got Oscar's and James' stats right. Unsurprisingly all others are in fact lower than what you said (Isco, for example, 4 goals and 5 assists, not 10 as you said). Never mind stating those are only offensive stats. Oscar's defensive work is better than most on the list or at least comparable with the most defensive minded ones. Some of the benefits that come with his defensive workload/pressing won't even be displayed in his stats, like the forced mistake which gifted Costa one of his goals, that won't appear on key passes or assists.
  13. While I think the passing thing is being overblown given the recent contributions Oscar has given to the team, I also believe those frustrations are completely acceptable because we're talking about pro footballers here. They eat, sleep, and breath football, it is reasonable to expect them not to misplace easy passes that even amateurs wouldn't, especially if they're misplacing them in a regular basis. It's just a matter of frustrated expectations. If a player can't execute 40-yard passes consistently he won't get bashed for it, maybe for trying them too often when it's clear those are not his thing. But basic passing is just something every player is supposed to have, and if a player is struggling at that he'd better work on it because that's a really serious issue. Whether it is technical or mental it must be fixed as soon as possible, especially when we're talking about a young player.
