  1. From what I've seen of Kalou in the ACN, he's coming back a better player. Ashley Cole and Obi shone yesterday amongst a lot of drabness.
  2. Thats true and there would be different conversations flying about today had Joe Cole had a deserved penalty converted. I would rather spot the cracks being papered over than just fall into the trap of accepting someone who's clearly out of his depth, before it's too late. Maybe we dont need a competent person at the helm, and surrounding adequate staff is enough. And another thing whilst i'm in Victor Meldrew mode -the atmosphere was shit yesterday from both sets. still, WIN OR LOSE, UP THE FUCKING BLUES, I SAY.
  3. SWP is definitely better behind the forwards in a central position, rather than an average player on the right wing. Yesterday he would have been ideal to replace Lampard, would have livened it right up, and Malouda on the left with Cole on the right. We have enough talent employed, just needs to be utilised in the right way-with the right motivation. kalou would have made the difference yesterday as well.
  4. Agree, wholesale changes would have been disastrous , unless executed by a competent coach. The substitutions and tactical changes are akin to a sedated sloth. He has brought absolutely nothing so far, and it is early days I know, but I'm sorry, it's a waste of a key position of Chelsea Football club to have practically no one there. He's inherited a Rolls Royce with a chauffeur and valet, yet doesn't get it serviced at all. It drives fine for a while. Eventually it will stall.
  5. Not yet. If we lose to the Yids at Wembley, and silverware is thin on the ground, come May, the knives will be out and sharpened for Romans puppet. JT was guest in the studio yesterday and said that when Grant took over he told the players that nothing will change from what they were doing under Mourinho, formation will stay the same. That shows that Grant does not have the knowledge and experience to manage properly at the top level and also confirms that it is in fact Steve Clarke doing the lions share of the work. We were pretty poor yesterday and Grant didn't have the ability to change it. I still believe it is the players have kept us in the hunt, not anything Grant has done. Grant is obviously out of his depth. This is even apparrent from his body language and befuddled touchline expression. He doesn't react quick enough to the changing situation in a match. But he is obviously content to get his £4.5 million a year. Ten Cate and Clarke take training, apparently Avram only picks the team. -and maybe that is passed down from Roman ?
  6. Lol no that's fine Aroop, probably more credible than Tribal anyway
  7. Good idea -always have to merge a couple together as well. And people really need to cite the source.
  8. A manager would be top of my list. Playing Lampard dismissed the good recent performances by SWP and Ballack. More than likely be 8 points off the pace tonight, with us yet to win against any of the top four since Romans puppet arrived. The two against Arsenal and Man united at home will be crucial.
  9. There were no problems until you started spouting your grammarless incoherent posts. But thanks for sharing your pic - it's 'moron' though not ' moran'. I'm sure the irony is lost on you. Well said fellow Mod. Just who the fuck is it ? A deranged Yid who stalks Chelsea forums in the small hours who aspires to be one of these ? '' An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response. 10. http://img.interia.pl/sport/nimg/Jose_Mour...dzie_663518.jpg
  11. All the freebies, Sidwell, Pizarro, and Ben Hapless have been average to poor. Fucking apalling when the nearest we came was Riises header back to Reina.
  12. Maybe he does ,but I honestly believe hes clueless as how to achieve his puppetmasters wish.
  13. Oh the unbeaten run is affecting the team ? -right. Another dig ? Thats another one of Mourinhos cock ups then.
  14. Just about sums it up. Disappointing and the way the team was giving the ball away today highlighted not only Lampards lack of match fitness, but lack of finesse in many departments. Grunt , the charlatan, slowly being found out, and having two top coaches along side him and a World Class squad is clearly not enough for the unqualified shyster. Totally predicatble substitutions, and when Liverpool have the better moments, and any average manager would be reorganising, - he's there biting his hand, Great. A fantastic oportunity blown, against an average Liverpool side, as you say. And this time tomorrow the Gooners will more than likely be 8 points clear. Today he gave Rafa his first away points at one of the 'big four' and is clearly not up to the job.
  15. It needs to be renamed ''The World Premiership League Soccer Franchise'' , brought to you by McDonalds and Skysports. Cant see many real Derby fans going over to Bejing on a rainy Friday.
  16. Lol unbelievable the Austrian one
  17. Agree think they've already decided -or Rupert Murdich and Sky decided. It's not due till Jan 2011, so lots can change between now and then. Anyway be quite nice having a boozy tour with Chelsea in Los Angeles or South Africa etc.
  18. From Vital Chelsea Ok, we all know by now the proposals for making the Premier League a franchise and selling the game down the river in the pursuit of a few more pennies for the money greedy men who ruin, sorry that was meant to be run, the game. The news for many came as no real shock, we as fans have been moved from pillar to post for years with ridiculous kick off times, late changes to fixtures to suit TV, new replica kits being introduced every other day (!) and a constant lack of respect to fans, we all have to sit down and woe betide any fan making any noise above a polite handclap, not to mention the very important health and safety rule that fans can't be trusted with the very dangerous bottle tops to their drinks. However surely the fact that all 20 of the Premier League Chairman voted in favour of looking at the proposal to further erode the great tradition of the game proves that for once, fans have GOT to unite to put an end to it? If they can't see that they will be destroying football for the want of a few more pounds in their already swelling banks, then the fans will have to show it. For me, if we franchise the game and start this world wide circus, I think I'll break my own heart and leave the Premier League and the club I love, it will be the straw that breaks the camels back as I don't think I'd want anything to do with it. A few examples of the feelings of editors across the Vital Premier League sites are here and then below is a link to a petition set up by our Vital Arsenal editor. Yes, it is 'just' a petition, but we surely have to start somewhere? Sign it, send it to your mates to sign it, even the teams in the Championship, Cola 1 and 2 etc should put their names against such a move because what the Premier League starts, other leagues are bound to try to replicate in some way, shape or form. This goes beyond team loyalty and hits at the very root of OUR game. Arsenal: PL Threatens The Essence Of Our Game Villa Stick Your Global Brand Up Your **** Chelsea: First overseas Premiership Fixtures Manchester City: Selling Its Soul To The Devil Manchester United: Overseas Prem Games? Please No! Sign the petition here: Don't Ruin Our National Game Other network and independent sites, PLEASE replicate this, publish the petition and spread the word. All individuals against the PL proposal, please forward to all your friends to sign.
  19. Would be the bees bollox. Would like any 2 from 3 up front with wingers pushing and receding as and when. At the risk of using the 'J ' word again -you reading this Cracker, youfuckwit? - with Amsterdam being the Dutch 'Jewish' club, and us with our fair share now ,we probably have a headstart over ManUsa and whoever else is interested. Besides he 's going to look good in Chelsea blue.
  20. We dont need him...although ...*scratches chin*.. buy him, get Mikel in training to put him out of action for months. Would be worth it just to see the hyserical media and Liverpool fans.
  21. Definitely, says hes looking forward to it -but has vowed to not get sent off Mikel vows to clean up act Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has pledged to clean up his game for the good of his team-mates. The Nigeria international has been sent off four times in his Stamford Bridge career - including twice this season - and has admitted his disciplinary problems are undermining the club's bid for silverware. Mikel is expected to feature in the squad for Sunday's visit of Liverpool following his return from the Africa Cup of Nations. "I think it is going to stop," he said, referring to the flurry of red cards he has received in England. "We will have to see but I don't like that, it is not good for the team to be down to ten men and I am trying all my best to make sure I don't get red cards." Meanwhile, Mikel is relishing the prospect of returning to action with a high-profile clash against another of their top-four rivals. "We haven't played the big teams at home and we will see what happens, if I play on Sunday or if I am on the bench," he added. "But I am glad to be back and that the team has been doing really well. "Let's hope we keep going like that." From Team Talkand 4 the Game
  22. To be fair he was a class above Droy, a lot more mobile anyway http://uglyfootballers.com/genpage.asp?DocumentID=120
  23. Definitely a team to be reckoned with. Similar to Mexico in style. What was all that rubbish at half time, ? - seemed to be some kind of scuffle when Ivory Coast players surrounded a member of the Egypt bench, pointing fingers and remonstrating angrily, while Drogba also argued with Egypt players ?
  24. Funny seeing the medias response this morning. It seems all bar The Sun are saying ity's a rubbish idea. The Sun are saying it's a fantastic idea. Nothing to do with the Suns owner, Rupert Murdochs Sky, getting £100 000 000 from it in TV revenue alone. Obviously the clubs are going to get a fair whack as well.
