Mateta should have played from the start
-
The two after this Newcastle and Liverpool will see if we have the mettle to be back in the big time - but Forest will be no cakewalk
-
Great to be at SB and see actual history being made - the stewards are still cunts though The test of whether we're back in the big time will be the Liverpool and Newcastle games coming up

Fans have reacted with anger and frustration after the sold-out Women’s Super League match between Chelsea and Manchester United next Sunday was postponed with just a week’s notice following the release of the Women’s Champions League group stage fixtures. Fans of both clubs labelled the decision a “farce” and an “embarrassment”, while the Chelsea Women’s Supporters Group said on X: “Absolute failure by the league. The club had to protect the players. We feel for all the supporters who have lost money on transport and hotels. As we said yesterday, it shouldn’t ever have got to this situation.”

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has backed Nicolas Jackson to turn into a £150 million player for Chelsea. The 23-year-old joined Chelsea in a £32m deal from Villarreal last year and has scored 21 goals in 50 appearances since his move to England. Jackson has made an impressive start to the new season, with four goals in five Premier League matches so far. Hasselbaink believes Jackson can become one of the world’s best strikers at Chelsea if he gains ‘top-level experience’ by playing in the Champions League. ‘I like Nicolas Jackson a lot,’ Hasselbaink told Genting Casino. ‘Not just because he’s playing at Chelsea, but because he causes defenders so much trouble. ‘He scored fourteen goals in the Premier League last season. That’s not a bad return in your first season in the Premier League. A lot of the goals he scored were in 3-0, 4-0 games, sot the challenge to him is to score goals when your team really needs you – be the difference-maker – and that is what he is starting to do this season. That is when a striker really earns his money, the games where the pressure is on your shoulders to win your team the game. I want to see if he can handle that pressure every week. AP News

Shit had no idea they had performed that well - and thats with offloading lots of their best players. Still think we're on a roll and can do them though.
-
Club have previous - new owners tend to get rid of Chelsea homegrown fans favourites, like they cant stand the adulation - Bates got rid of Hutch, Ossie and Hudson ambassadors for the club
-
We're on a roll now - lets have another 3 points and preferably clean sheet as well KTBFFH

Enzo Maresca has told Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall that he must fight for his place as he is no longer 'the main player' he was at Leicester. The midfielder followed his former Foxes boss to Stamford Bridge in what seemed a strange deal at the time. Very strange when you consider we offloaded Conor...then again it was all about balancing the books
-
Oshimen would have upset the current set up
-
They will as well I expect
-
I will go mental if it turns out Dewsbury Hall is Marescas gay lover
-
That would have been a dodgy fixture under Potter/ Lampard
-
That was a cheeky one for the hatrick

Brilliant Felix

Barrow have been in strong form and currently sit top of League Two after winning five and losing only one of their seven matches so far this term under former Tottenham midfielder Stephen Clemence. They beat fourth-tier rivals Port Vale in round one of this competition before shocking Championship side Derby on penalties to tee up a plum trip to Chelsea....

Stamford Bridge was rocking...absolute banger of a game Thanks for posting

Barrow players bizarrely offered bigger bonus if they LOSE to Chelsea than if they win Carabao Cup clash According to The Telegraph, Barrow players have been handed a greater financial incentive to lose the third-round tie than to pull off an upset victory, which comes just before the two clubs' match on September 24. Barrow's bonus structure technically does not violate any regulations, but the English Football League (EFL) is reportedly irritated by it and expects the club to explain themselves because this is the first time a club has provided a higher prize for losing a match than for winning one.
