  1. Yup and with some of those theyre not even allowed to say there is a super injunction, let alone what it was about.! Changing tack, (you mentioned Palestine) -I saw that on the anniversary of that Turkish ship getting attacked by the Iraelis, there will be 15 ships sailing to Gaza with aid next month -could be lively !
  2. If its all in black and white and the player is aware that he may return after a year or two years due to Chelsea having a first buy back option, its a good deal -if all parties are happy. As you say Real Madrid and Spanish teams use it all the time....
  3. Its amazing when you actually look at who in the media was at Oxford/Cambridge with them all sat in Parliament. newspaper publishers/columnists, politicians, CEOs of companies, TV Executives -they all know each other. No surprise they all work to an agenda to protect their kind. eg found out the other day David Dimbleby (Question Time) was in the Bullingdon Club -The Oxford gang that included Cameron, Osborne, Boris Johnson etc that smashed up restaurants -a ''jolly hoot'' (Criminal damage if you or I did it though).
  4. Maybe one day I've found on US news sites that the Spanish demonstrations are continuing and growing. There are also 1000 people gathering in Paris in support. But the BBC and European media steadfastly refusing to cover it. Funny that.
  5. Agree with that -went on the 'March for the Alternative' last month, 500 000 people walking to Hyde park to hear some moribund dinosaur speeches...OR.. attack the symbols of our misery, blatantly flaunting their wealth in the West End. Funnily enough the march in Hyde Park got hardly any coverage , it was all about Fortnum and Mason, HSBC, and the Ritz getting a few windows smashed. History shows the powers that be dont take the slightest bit of notice if people forlornly march from A to B eg 1 000 000 pople marching against the Iraq war, totally ignored
  6. The police battered the people in Barcelona on Champions League night and cleared the square, but they came back the next day There is quite a bit of apathy in the UK by people, no collectivity Govt has made a good job at making people individual units of consumption - You'd think young people would start to kick off soon though l;ike the Spanish -We now have no EMA, £9000 Fees for Uni yet.... The posh school Eton gets charity status and therefore £30 million of our tax money to 'educate' the toffs where Cameron, Osborne etc went, in such things as 'Dressage' and 'Pheasant Shooting'. I kid you not....
  7. Blatters has always hid his middle name his full name is; Joseph Sepp :541: Bellend Blatter FACT OF THE DAY
  8. Lol Good way to make shed loads of cash. Theres something fundamentally wrong when Blatter is now the only one standing. All the national football federations are frightened to say anything as they get trickle down FIFA cash. So why rock the boat ? Its completely wrong though, if we take the last World Cup for instance -South Africans sweated their bollocks off to build and prepare for it, the stadiums and infrastructure -an they all paid tax. FIFA make millions and millions from the advertising, Coke, McDonalds etc and tickets -yet their astronomical profits are completely tax free! They have at least $600 million in petty cash lying in a Swiss Bank account -wouldnt this be put to better use encouraging and developing grass roots football ????
  9. Bloody Great Tits ? Thought there was already 'sexiest girl in the world ' thread
  10. Well theSpanish dont seem to be budging, could this be the start of something bigger like in the Arab countries ? I notice our media is playing it down http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13593016 Unemployment for young people very high, and theyre basically just fed up with the lack of opportunities. They've also set up 'tent cities' in London, Bristol, Brighton...
  11. Yes it did look childish LDN agree -and our bid looked embarassing all the way with sqeaky voiced Beckham, two braincells shearer, and a parasite 'royal'. How do you get a job in FIFA, seems like a good way to make money.?
  12. Asking whether Russia bribed though, is like asking 'does the Pope wear a funny hat ' ?
  13. Brilliant day -will go next year - Some big bellies floppin about kenny Sansom was about 8 months pregnant and Galvin was carrying triplets. Hasselbaink, Nevin, Zola & Walker all in the same team -brilliant -would have been good to see Speedie or Osgood
  14. Worked out pretty well for the racist, sexist, homophobe -another 4 years Warner has stated that Blatter bunged him £1M for his own federation to sweeten a deal Blatter wanted through, though -still feel this could lead somewhere...
  15. You said betting had been stopped. It clearly hasnt. Fourteen Bookmakers There are two sides to this thread, who do you want to be next manager/and are there any clues. Apart from bookmakers odds there is very little else.
  16. Closed the odds ? There are fourteen bookies with odds at least, here in England, none of them have closed at all. Betting patterns are as good a clue as anything so I prefer those to crystal balls.
  17. I know ! not a lot of leg ends to be honest. Sadly quite a few passed away as well. Johnny Vaughn as Asst Manager ?? Oh well I expect it will Tomo. Gourlay dont miss a trick
  18. The last 3 or 4 managers have been second favourites
  19. cant see them on that football.40.com site GZ, probs on the respective club websites

  21. Most owners are complete cunts -just see it as licence to print money off a brand that people are loyal to. The Glazers, as just one example, are real scum, using the fans money to pay off their debts. Abramovich, at least he loves his football, has got his wallet out a few times, -he'd get a bit more respect if he left the footballing decisions to football people though....
  22. I dont think there will be an announcement for a while yet. The betting patterns suggest twitchy redknob isnt the man, as he'd be fixing it. Gonna have a wedge on another pensioner, Hiddink.
  23. I think theres a lot more going on here to be honest -probably years of neglect/antagonism ''I couldnt stand the constant arguing'' as LDN Blue says. Look carefully at the journalism -trying to evoke as much emotion from the reader as possible by making it out to be just over a PSP. Press making it out to be a horror story and that people are just ''evil'' I'm not saying the kids not a fruitloop, but the language of the report -covers the essentials like ''Wearing a blue striped polo shirt and casual trousers''
