Ballack A Revelation At Chelsea

Lol, is that a Lineker quote ? Quite a lot have been called that -Ray Wilkins, Hasselbaink etc to start with. Bundesliga and Europen football in general has always been about slow, slow, quick -the patient build up. Hes adapted now, the cerebral Ballack replaced with the action man, and it seems Shevchenko might have turned the corner as well. -
Nah I think you're right, our support was fantastic and sung all the way through. Probably determined the result to an extent. Sterling performance on the pitch, the defence and Cech should take special creditand especially Maka sat in front. When you look at who was missing as well Lampard, Essien, Mikel, Terry, Drogba, Shevchenko, Ballack etc. And what a ball from Malouda !?! Similar to Lampards for Drogbas briilaint goal a week or two back. I hope Anelkas luck changes -thats two crossbars hes nearly broken in two games.

Good points E. If you go to Africa you also experience some of the most friendly people, more so than in Europe
-
Yeah but I suppose the UK would be just as harsh on a couple of Ghanaian girls they caught in this country. It'll come down to some diplomacy between the governments and then they'll be freed probably. As far as Africa it's easy to slag it off, but dont forget the whole continent was 'owned' by European countries, which stripped it of oil, minerals, assets, slaves etc. Puppet dictators put in place to serve Western interests, and now unsurprisngly theres a lot of resulting chaos. So its no wonder you get decisions that seem strange.

It was rampant that season. To me Chelseas best ever after 1970 FA Cup win, better than the titles even in terms of euphoria. No wonder Neal had a heart attack months later Yup the 5-0 trashing of Leeds, 5-0 against Derby and 4-0 against Newcastle -Keegans last game for them if I remember rightly, and he was taking some stick. All those Geordies with those big foam rubber hands.

Lol, pulling the plug would be hilarious Mourinho always said its important, but fourth in priority. Yeah Evertons recent history not as good as ours, but they've won the League six times more.

The Sun, Chelsea website, heads or tails ?

Grant last night taunted Everton fans by saying they are a small club. Big Bad Avram Grrr. (Daily Mirror) Also, The Toad has hinted he couldn't care less about the Carling Cup. Same as Wenger. (The Sun)

Non-fat Frank Lampard is set to suffer more injury heartbreak after he tore a muscle in his right thigh again. He's set to be out of action for at least a month. The Star

Lol, and bar them for life.

His extra time semi goal against Blackbum was a highlight, meant we were in the FA Cup final, and lets hope he can score another superb free kick at Goodison again tonight ! He oozes quality and is one of the Worlds Greats -

I think it was only you and me defending him last season on the forum. Everyone saying he was a lazy cunt, -even Badboy wants to have the Germans babies now. -

Go along with the adaption theory, but he also flourishes at his best when with the armband, organising, moving faster, anticipating runs, kommandant stylee. He relishes the responsibility. -
Spuds at Wembley will doubtless involve some carnage. Ivanovich on Youtube looks like Huth on a speed/crack cocktail.
-
Yup the Toffees biggest game for years. Defence will have to be at their best tonight, and if we're a goal up, or level with 20 to go can see Ivanovich getting a debut as well
-
Cant believe that last night. Arse were too far forward too many times and the yids caught them on so many ocassions . Walcott overrated by far, and Adebeyor nutting Bender, wasss that all about ? News is looking promising for SWP now, and Sinclair may get a run methinks, but Lescott will be desperately looking to amend things.
-
Come along, come along, Come along and sing this song We're the boys in Blue in Division 2 But we won't be here for long
-
Cant see him being interested in either . He set himself an 'English' challenge, and it'll be another country next.
-
Nice bit of research there. Can we have the results as well ?

So scousers want DIC for a pair of dickheads ? The dickheads have borrowed loads of cash to try and make a quick buck at Anfield. They have now reneged on their promise of a new stadium. DIC are loaded so they would probably chuck some cash at Rafa to spend.
-
Its the sort of game where Kalou and SWP would be ideal for unlocking their defence, but JC and Malouda will have to do it. Also a chance for Anelka to open his account. Looking forward to this one, it all seems fairly balanced, unless they score first of course.
-
Like you say as long as no one gets carted off, that defence and having Maka should stop them. Hope we can score early on, 0-0 at 80 mins or something could be a nightmare.
-
Too right. Looks a pretty strong side though, and can see it maybe going to extra time with another final against the Arse
-
I bet the Dutch are kicking themselves for not allowing him citizenship

Many Italian clubs look after the fans as they're frightened of repercussions. The Premiership is probably the worst league in the world for disregarding its real fans. Arrogance borne out of guaranteed TV money. Its like I said, its a football wide issue, no harm in having a moan about it though. And as iron horse said , it usually just amounts to forum or pub talk, until the clubs push the fans too far, when as you say they have to lower ticket prices for some games, as the adverts in the Evening Standard arent working.
