  1. Says hes ''not Scolaris pet'' . Goes on to say people are on his back because hes a Scolari untouchable I dont think thats the reason, it's because you keep giving the fucking ball away. Tamagochi
  2. yeah they just hang on, good to see Ronaldos face at the end Sadly think they'll get overturned at the theatre of shit...
  3. The other annoying thing is that Scolari doesnt seem too concerned. The press confereces have him smiling and media friendly -obviously this was drilled into him by Kenyon, Tenenbaum etc as an absolute necessity for the job. ''Dont be controversial like Mourinhoo was'' The result is smiles, shrugs of the shoulders, and ''This is Football'' bollox.
  4. Not missed a pompey game for 25 odd years or something, mad as a lorry, but oldskool top fan
  5. They were shite first half against Burnley, then 'Arry swapped it all about for the 2nd half, and won 4-1. Now 'Arry is a slimey cnut, but at least he knows how to switch things around -be it a club or formation -I wish Scolari would take a leaf out of his book , or grow a pair, tactically he's like an anaemic sloth by comparison.
  6. Joe Cole and Ashley Cole do really well for England on the left. Source for this ?
  7. ..will watch yernited game with Abramovich, his first Prem game since leaving According to the Sun...
  8. Bookies have stopped taking bets on Scolari to be the next Premiership sacking.... Dead man Walking ?
  9. Yup TB that has been the accepted position, but money, and particularly the loss of it can bring out the extremes in people. The club hierarchy ''being confident'' is no guarantee whatsoever. We've heard this morning that Scolari has been told in no uncertain terms that the £12 million from Bridge he cant use.
  10. Same old -either too many or not enough defenders. He's done exceptionally well at Wolves, instrumental in why they're flying. The way this club is behaving, he'll probably be flogged off to Villa or something.....
  11. We always seem to do well up there, even when we were shit. Hopefully Drogs can bully their defenders.
  12. Abramovich has lost a few billion in the last few weeks, the Russian stock market has collapsed spectacularly, he was also in New york just before the announcement that Bernard Madoff had embezzled £50 billion. He still has hundred of millions of pounds, but lets not forget the bigger picture that Chelsea Football club is one of his toys like one of his yachts. He loses a few billion, hes sore. This explains the petty cut backs like players only being given four complimentary tickets, and having to pay for their own meals at the training ground. Not that good for morale if you ask me. He is calling in his debts owed by the club, so the £30 million for Robinho, or any money available can be called back as his debt at anytime...
  13. We need to face up to the fact Clarke and Mourinho wont be coming back -and the club has fucked up royally by getting rid. Abramovich has paid the price for wanting -''more exciting football''. Why oh why are we weakening the squad by offloading Bridge at this juncture ?? Scolari seems quite unconcerned in press conferences -all the ''oh well'' bollocks and ''This is football''. Rapidly losing faith that he cares at all....
  14. God yeah -the dreaded pens. How frustrating was that ? Seems to be a complete lack of clinical finishing and sheer desire to put it in the onion bag. Fair play to the 6000 odd Shrimper pikeys, gave it all the vocal -but shouldnt be allowed in the Shed !!! Oh well should wrap it up Wednesday week....
  15. Man City have the cash now -not that Abramovich is skint, but apparently the fraudster in New York, Bernard Madoff made off with a fair chunk. Bridge has been the consumate professional.
  16. Lies a lot as well.... Oh, apart from two Serb Internationals
  17. Still letting Deco off the hook with his possession loss, and wasteful balls. Scolari is becoming BIG PhiLiabilty, and patience will be lost upstairs soonish, with his days numbered. Man Utd have three home games in hand, will means us being 2pts behind them in third because its unlikely theyll drop points against Fulham, Wigan and Boro.
  18. Agree about the posts thing -it's basic football you learn as a kid. It's fucking annoying to concede goals like that, and not for the first time.
  19. The media would be creaming themselves if Ferdinand, Carragher or Gerrard had tackled like that. Can here Skysports now - ''Ohh what passion and determination...'' Cech was imperious and kept it at 0-0, Bosingwa and Ashley Cole were good as well....and our fans gave a good account away again...
  20. Nice bit of optimism P. My christmas drink is half empty, and I cant see a way out unless there is more focus and motivation. Something that was more readily forthcoming from Clarke and Mourinho than Wilkins and Scolari. The positive thing , and what makes it more intersting is the other three of the 'top four' all stumbling along...
  21. Wasn't a red by any stretch. Not even a yellow, fat ref was swayed by the baying Birkenhead crowd. See tackles like that every week, but when the crowd went ballistic, the ref got all indignant. He was later biased out of all proportion, and Scolari and Wilkins were right to not do any interviews as they would have definitely gone off on one. Well the current form is pretty dire -and to big up the Drogba/Anelka partnership before the game , and then only play Anelka was either psychology (which obviously didnt work) or stupidity. I thought the battling at the end showed character, even though Chelseas character shouldnt be defensively hanging on for a point...but that was down to a certain fat official.
  22. Lol -None of 'Zack Wilson's surmising reflects Scolaris comments. Scolaris not going to come out and say 'Yup it works 100%' as the expectations would be way to high on the pitch, so what does he say 'Its 50% successful'. From that Goal make up their story
  23. Been going a lot longer than the European Cup It was called the Intercontinental Cup and was quite a good tournament. Ruined by cash hungry marketeers now, half the teams had gone when United touched down in Japan, due to FIFAs coefficient rating .
  24. You're right DV. Their arrogance is breathtaking, and once Ferguson has gone , some of the truths about bullying and corrupting referees will come out.
