  1. Thought he gave a good account of himself yesterday -and it looked like Carvalho had returned
  2. I cant give any credit to Liverpool because for the most part they were pretty negative with 9 behind the ball. Our lack of creativity -in particular Lampard and Essien- and the inabilty to see beyond pass, pass and pass, means the clock ticks away, and as with many games this season, sees the last 10 minutes become a State of Emergency with balls hoofed up the field in desperation. Its not as though there arent creatives in midfield -and look forward to Ramires, Zhirkov and Benayoun returning. Sadly we actually looked stronger when Kalou came on -but yesterday Everton, Wolves, Blackburn, Sunderland -any number of teams would have capitalised on the wayward balls and hesitancy. A good stern half time talking to was also probably missing.....
  3. I think you're over estimating the control and power Ancellotti has, and underestimating the influence of the board, and Abramovich. Ancellottis didnt sack Clarke ot Wilkins, nor appoint ..er ...whatsisname, that bloke who just sits there...Emanalo. Almost guaranteed he doesnt have hardly any influence in youth policy either. But you're right, when the shit hits the fan, he'll be the fall guy, to mask the boards mistakes.... ....
  4. Lol definitely. Good that he has kept himself in shape and playing well though
  5. Loads of speculation and fantasy football between now and May. And from the Ministry of the Bleeding Obvious -players will be bought and sold in the Summer. Lets just enjoy what we have now.....
  6. Yup we're making history. Without that CL qualification -I dont think we would have been on the Russians radar. Still fantastic game -was in a pub full of Candy shirt wearing cunts and it kicked off -something over Lampard if I remember rightly.
  7. Cant take anything Murdochs rag says seriously. At least five Sun journalists should be on their way out......
  8. More of this please. Without this, Abramovich would not have bought the club,
  9. Mineiro played twice I think. Biggest personal disappointment was Chris Sutton . Everyone in the ground was willing him to score and do well
  10. He's still trying to grow a tache. The face that even a blind mother couldnt love , and adorns dartboards throughout the globe
  11. Spot on. I was a great fan of the adopted orphan when we signed him. Had no idea we signed the kid from Musical Youth by mistake.....
  12. Forum getting better now -bit more humour injected into it. Its what Chels fans are famous for dontchaknow Too many po faced fantasy signing football threads, and hero worship of players, bordering on teenage homo erotica. There I've said it
  13. Bogarde was on Chelsea’s books for three years and ten months, apparently , and he earned £8,240,000. As it is, That works out at £686,666 per game. Rix signed him, and he was under contract so cant blame the fella......still , mental.
  14. QPR in the cup I think ...then went awol on the pitch
  15. The famous Waitrose eggs quote. Pizzaro loitering on the edge of the penalty area like waiting for a bus scored on his debut though ?
  16. Exactly M. Torres grew up in Sunny Spain, never stood in the kop, promised those pikeys he'd play his best which he did. Then they become worse, and he want to win trophies, and play in CL which the murderers cant offer. They suddenly see it as though their wife has left them. When will they fucking realise their is no loyalty from any players, except to whoevers paying an extra 10k a week. We're just supporting a 'brand' and the only loyalty we fans have is essentially to what is now just a product. Anyway back on topic, I'd have Osgood and Harris in there. And Ray Wilkins
  17. Have a double. At this juncture I'd like to throw David Hopkin and GARETH CUNTING HALL into the mix as well :eyebrows:
  18. Boyhood Chelsea fan, stood in the Shed, played for the club he supported, treated immaculately by the club, the fans, supported throughout his injuries, picking up £80k a week in the process before letting his contract run down ...Ok he did desert us to those pricks for £10k a week more.
  19. How many years did he know and play in front of Schmeicel ? Refusing to shake his hand was pretty petty.
  20. :goodpost: Under Abramovich the tight shorted Tal Ben haim has to be the worst ?
  21. Good shout. Didnt Morris beat up a taxi driver or was that Wise ? Can chuck in Ambrosetti-''the Italian Ryan Giggs'' turned out to be the Italian Lee Sharpe. And Tony Cascarino !!
  22. That £50 million suddenly looks like shrewd business. He better not do a benayoun on Sunday then and be out for the rest of the season
