Surprised they've started on him so quickly. Once the honeymoon period is over the press will go for him. The difference between him and Mourinho is that he wont relish it, he wont go looking for it and seems adept at social skills ie dealing with the media -

Trouble is fans at the Bridge and some of the players call David Luis ''Lewis'' -

Quite good analysis in The Independent I like the bit when he was manager of the Virgin Isands and they had no idea how old he was. They called him ''Lewis'' -

I'm suitably chastised there Henrique. Just thought Sir Andy Boas had a nice ring to it. *bet you're great fun in a stuck elevator * -

A Fergie like dynasty looms -20 years time it'll be 20 League wins, Sir Andy Boas and he'll have a fucking great red nose like Ferguson... ....either that or he'll be out by Christmas :whistling: -

Yes LDN i know what you mean - he is quality through and through -if I have to be still negative he is sometimes missing in the tackle , but a few tweaks from his new guvnor compatriot should put things right Great to have some ringing endorsements -just let him stay for a while -we dont want a ''Whos the next Manager ?'' thread come the Spring, .......a ''Who's the Next Board ?'' thread would be OK though.... -

His crossing might improve if he actually looked up. His pace is immense though... -

Same always rated him, a right wing potentially mirror image of Cole. The most frustrating aspect of his game to me is his crossing -must have been taught by Gronkjaer. Hopefully Mini-Mourinho can make him stay behind for extra homework -
Didnt he accuse a CFC official of calling him ''a monkey of shit '' ?

Robson again getting loads of credit as Mourinho did as well. Interesting that Boas grandmother comes from the North East as well. Hopefully he'll bring his own people and Mr Emanalo can disappear -if he wants to continue to watch the club in silence -I suggest the West Stand....... -

"That means you have to be extra meticulous and theoretically strong. I also think it is much easier to assimilate academic and theoretical ideas when you are younger than than when you move into management after a playing career." He has a point there. I would feel much more optimistic being 1 down at half time at Anfield or Old Trafford with a Boas response than Ancellotti. -

Good info -and the fact he's been working with top level professionals since he worked under Bobby Robson at Porto, Mourinho always said he was one to watch ...... -
We all know it's when not if hes coming -but what do we know about him ? Post your info here. Back in 2005 -well 19th November 2005 to be precise, this was his behind the scenes preparation against Newcastle.......in depth aint the word http://www.bragafut....tigos/art18.pdf This fills me with a lot of confidence

He got paid off from Chelsea when Mourinho left.. We're paying a 15m Euro release fee to Porto for him.... AND giving him a reported 5m per year salary. Not bad for a 33 year old former scout that's never kicked a ball professionally. -

I think all the talk about the players not respecting him are unfounded. They are professionals at heart and the injection of young blood should fire some new ideas. ''Boas will earn €5m (£4.4m) a season, the exact salary José Mourinho earned at the west London club, according to Jornal de Notícias. Chelsea will also pay the €15m (£13.2m) release clause'' The Guardian -

True, and not officialised yet. Betting suspended now makes it look likely. Not unusual for a publication to spout bollocks, but a for a whole (Luas) newsagency, it would make them lose so much credibility -

Mate of a mate type scenario -whos ''in the know at the Bridge'' has said its Boas nailed on -with Hiddink as Director of Football. I'm more than happy with that !! -
Great. Another loanee to go out in 2012 then.

Kalou: Players sulked and moaned
Fulham Broadway replied to Rubber bullets's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Whoa there people ! Hold on this is a story in Murdochs Sky news that Kalou allegedly gave to Murdochs gutter sewer press, The Sun. I've heard Kalou speak and I'm sorry his English isnt up to using the words like ''pout'' and ''preoccupied''. More than likely the scum ''I need to print something'' journalist said the statement, and Kalou just nodded in that ''I'm not really here'' type of way, not having a clue what the wanky journalist was on about. Then - Hey Presto!! A Story of Unrest in the Chelsea Dressing Room that fits Torres surly expression. Half a mind to close this thread as its a big pair of hairy bollocks.... -
Daniel Sturridge Next Season
Fulham Broadway replied to John Terry lovechild's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Yeah agree with that z. But when have the board ever been embarassed about two footed transfer policy Its the way we do business , I think the main focus for the first 10 games of 2011-12 will be on the 50m golden boy, and Roman will want a return befire he throws his toys out the pram. The other strikers will be a sideshow -but if Hiddink comes back he will be his own man, and if Torres isnt performing Hiddink wont give him as much slack as Ancellotti, and Sturridge will have a chance at centre stage -
Bleakley and Lampard get engaged!

His form has dropped since they withdrew the Balti pies at the Bridge. Nailed on Fact. -
Daniel Sturridge Next Season
Fulham Broadway replied to John Terry lovechild's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Possibly Lukaku what with wearing a Chelsea shirt etc. But the main protagonists in the spin are agents, after all they want the best price for their boy in the window so if they can get the 'big' clubs bidding against each other. the more cash is generated. Thats why I ignore the transfer threads in the main, all the big clubs ae linked with everyone -its called the 'silly season' for a reason Sturridge still needs to prove himself in my book. He was loaned out for a reason. Strutting around arogantly in a Chelsea strip is not the way to endear youyrself to the faithful or the board. Yes, hes been the bollocks at Bolton, but yet to prove himself at SW 6.
