  1. Would be a disaster. Last thing needed is someone who will show a bit of commitment one game in three to get £180 000 a week, get injured, and have the likes of WBA, Wolves, etc trying to show him up. Also not a cat in hells chance would happen. This thread should be closed.
  2. The team near enough play mangerless anyway -as we saw with the fatsack of shit Avram who might as well have not been there. AVB noted for his meticulous preparation, and hes learning to bollock players now so give him time. Right now though two things he needs to stress - 1. Complete lack of pressing when other teams on the ball needs to be addressed 2. Set pieces are still woefully defended. 2a. Boswinga out ASAP.
  3. Theris also none of the pressing that has been such a trademark over the last few seasons -teams are given more and more room when in possession. This seriously has to be addressed.
  4. If AVB gets the push before next Summer it will be a travesty. I know its the Russian way of doing things, but the personnel changes do nothing for any confidence of incoming encumbernts. If the Stamford Bridge revolving door keeps turning -then Gourlay and Buck should be thrown out as well .....
  5. I dont think it is ''Official -fee agreed for Cahill'' Bet it drags on till January 30th http://www1.skysport.../11095/7407509/
  6. Not putting the game to bed, left a last second heart in mouth moment today, but what a save
  7. Doubtless Shearer or Hansen, whichever ''expert pundit'' is on MOTD tonight will give ''Should Lampards tackle have been Red ?'' star billing as an issue
  8. Not quite doing the payback for £50 000 000 yet though...
  9. Laylabelle or Chelsea Chick deserves a mention, because shes 100% Chelsea
  10. Sometimes he seems incredibly naive. But we should be prepared to give him Summer transfer time and next season at least....
  11. I thought people seemed resigned that this was a season of transition ? Fans arent to blame, more football being ruined by money that has driven the passionate working class fans out, therefore shit atmosphere. As for Drogba and Lampard going, silly if there arent the replacements there yet. And as for the performance today, the half naked streaker showed more passion and fight than most of our lot -but shit happens -who'd of thought 20/1 Blackbum would get a result at the Theatre of Shit ?
  12. We must have seen him against us 5 or 6 times and most of the time we have scored a bucket load againt Bolton and therefore he did not stand out. JT rates him and he is in and around England's starting 11 We need a centre back and the price looks right. Not overjoyed though....
  13. Lol could be. They really stand out when it happens - but all clubs have their ponies I suppose, we only seem to remember the Chelsea ones
  14. Back to AVB -deserves some credit for the past month. Thankfully got over the pig-headedness of insisting on the kamikaze defensive set up and restored some balance in the midfield
  15. Chris Sutton Mk2. Thing is we'll get rid and he'll ''rediscover'' his form
  16. Agree with that. hes had ample opportunities. You can hear a collective, albeit hushed, sigh at the Bridge as he warms up.....
  17. If the 10 other talented players on the pitch had as much commitment as JT, the league would be sewn up in January
  18. Another London club that will play as if its their World Cup Final. No way they'll roll over and say ''Take me big boy'' as they did against yernited. That said I can see Blue Lions headline now ''Boas's Bruisers Batter Cottagers''
  19. All top clubs are businesses, the football comes further down the list. Most of their revenue comes from TV rights, rich billionaire buyers who see the clubs as way to make more money, and by promotion of the brand to third world countries, USA, Australia, India etc We all know the players are way overpaid, compared to say someone who works to actually benefit humanity such as a cancer nurse, teacher or street cleaner. Its the culture of celebrity, and the clubs status as a magnet to peoples need to belong to a tribe that keeps it going. At the end of the day its a fucking brilliant game, compulsive, invented in England, but yes its been ruined by the greedy businessmen
  20. He really is being shown up now Romeu is about. Yes can hold the ball but is often lazy and definitely too ponderous.
  21. Yeah but what hes saying is - ''Is your old man about ? I could give you a quickie in the tunnel''
  22. Well i've texted them to let them know vast swathes of their ''fans '' need to be investigated after constantly singing ''Terry, Terry Youre a Cunt''. This must fall under their ''abusive '' category. All the footage must surely be on their fat stewards head cams.....No response as yet. Ii urge others to text in
  23. What an injustice it would have been if Adebayor had scored at the end when he shouldn't have been on the pitch but that is why JT is the legend he is, couldn't believe some on here were saying he shouldnt play
  24. ^^^^ This. (as the kids say) Top Posting. Doesnt really matter what a few people say on t'internet chat forums or red top newspapers, all the Chelsea fans at the games give him 100% support
