Sometimes hes lacking in 'tactical nous' but is getting better, and as someone said hes still young -ish. What was superb about Maka was his low centre of gravity and an uncanny knack of reading the game way before danger materialised. but if he went up further than the half way line he needed oxygen. Mikel is going forward more -albeit at the possible expense of cover, and not sure its a good idea -its not like he can shoot Anyway - with more dimensions to his play we should hang on to him. But he is definitely a marmite player.

Come on Chels ! Fuck off Rafa.

my take on Sundays derby.... A FOOTBALL business has been outperformed by a rival company with varying resources Each team of football workers wore appropriately-coloured football kits One was slightly more efficient at outputting its product than another, who were competing for a revenue stream called the Premier League. Sundays match was controversial because the losing company was founded in the same location as the winning company, whose American owners had borrowed hundreds of millions of pounds then siphoned off any profit for themselves. Whereas the other company was owned outright by an Arab consortium as a plaything.. Over 4000 customers of the one business showed their dislike for the other one by travelling to pay money to sit in its stadium complaining about the fact it’s only interested in money. The supporters of the other business duly obliged and showered some of the other business employees with coins as a ‘goodwill’ gesture. Employee Robert Van Persie scored a goal as per his employment contract, which was enough for his employers to win. Manchester Franchise FC team leader Alex Ferguson said: “Every little boy dreams of maximising revenue for a business that owns a patch of grass. “In a few weeks time we’ll go to Swansea to try and earn some more money for our greedy bosses.”

Anyone else hear Paddy Crerand on R 5 not understanding the question ? Britain to put more angry old Scotsmen on the radio RADIO stations are to contact old Scottish men and get them confused and angry, live on air. Crerand wants to know how many people said he was wearing a tie With 5 Live pundit Paddy Crerand hurtling towards a Bafta, stations are now making lists of elderly men in the Glasgow area and the things that get them all worked up. Earlier today Bill MacKay, a retired plumber, was phoned by the Sound FM breakfast show and asked if he thought the fan that threw a coin at Rio Ferdinand was a racist. He replied: “Who said coins were racist? How many people said that two pence pieces are racist?” His voice rising, he added: “Now hang on a wee minute, I asked you a question. How many people said two pence pieces were racist? You don’t know do you? Racist coins? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.” A spokesman said: “We like to phone them just as they are waking up and are particularly furious and incoherent. It’s what radio was invented for.” Meanwhile, Tom Logan, a 68 year-old former accountant, delighted BBC listeners by continually asking Radio Four’s Evan Davis what he meant by ‘in your day?’. He added: “That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. In your day? In your day? How many people said ‘in your day’?” Devoted fan, Emma Bradford, said: “I love listening to angry, confused old Scottish men on the way to work. “I have a podcast of 18 them telling Gary Lineker to stop claiming that he played for Brazil.”

The role of managers is way, way overrated. Still, counting the days, counting the days......I want us to do well, but I'm ignoring him and counting down to when the esteemed waiter leaves

Closed Chelsea 6-1 FC Nordsjaelland
Fulham Broadway replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Chelsea Match Chat
Nice moves and goals last night. Interesting to see how it pans out against Sunderland, and in Japan. - games against Everton, Stoke, gooners, Man City, Leeds etc are the real litmus test rather than a brace against a pub team. I will reserve judgement on the Rafalution (if hes still here) until the New Year -
