  1. Watched the debate and 'Trump Show' on BBC. See him just as an egotistical spoilt Reality TV star now, who would say black is white just to get out of a lie. The real tragedy is that US politics has come down to two multi millionaires in a head to head that spent so much time saying how corrupt the other one was. Really ?? The US population deserve way better than this. Sadly going the same way in the UK , where lying and cheating and fraud by MPs is no longer a resigning matter, but now 'acceptable'. This amoral behaviour filters down into the rest of society -we need a sea change in politics before society is really fucked.
  2. Can Liverpool do it without St. Virgin Mary Van Dyck of Anfield
  3. Fair play to Newcastle fans -they raised £19 000 for charity instead of paying for their Pay per View Game meanwhile Sky and BT Sport refuse to say how many people paid £15 to watch Chels v saints and Newcastle v Man Utd. Safe to say it was very few then
  4. The real funny thing is the collapse didnt happen till Bale came on
  5. Especially with the return of the Welsh man bun bonobo
  6. He said "make sure to vote because the only way we lose this is by the chicanery going on relative to polling places." (Pennsylvania speech then later on said he would accept the result) Both a pair of cunts. Mickey Mouse would be better.
  7. The most worrying thing about the impending US election, isnt that the choices are Biden or Trump, ridiculous in itself, but that both sides have said they will not accept the result. Real chance of another Civil war. All empires collapse sooner or later, and it looks as though the United States one will from within.
  8. Disgusting theyre charging £15. Vespers internet stream it is then
  9. Yeah, and as if those yank owners of liverpool or United with their grand master plan actually gave a flying fuck about Fleetwood or Stevenage. Do they fuck ! -they wouldnt bat an eyelid if lower league clubs went under.
  10. I dont think clubs would do that tbh -nationalism is bound up in so many clubs Royal Madrid for example funded by the Spanish govt. and none of them would be first to put their heads above the parapet and risk losing TV money. Especially when with the pandemic, it is their main source of income
  11. Thing is they are all part of other federations (Uefa) etc and these federations work 'together' as different arms of a business -to make money. Because the Romans sussed out the secret to keeping populations compliant in their empire was to give them 'Bread and Circuses' - governments encourage the same now -football is one of the biggest pacifiers
  12. Broadcasters have paid the International Football federations billions to screen internationals. Its all about the money
  13. Johnson and Hancock keep bleating on about NHS Track and Trace -except it doesnt actually exist. They privatised it in June to reward Tory donors with lucrative government contracts despite the dubious and dodgy records of performance, including criminal behaviour, of those Tory supporting companies. 'Consultants' of these companies are paying themselves £8000 a day. with our money. They had to send off almost 200,000 swabs and tests to other countries to be processed as the testing lab network introduced by the private providers doesn't actually have Labs. They want the chaos to continue as they get richer, meanwhile people are dying horrible deaths....
  14. Good cross by James for Kane. Maguire is a liability - send him back to Greece
  15. Yes I see your point - though the Community Shield to me is a great curtain raiser to the season, and all the money goes to charity. The League Cup is so important to all 92 clubs, as Lampard said, and is a massive source of revenue to lower league clubs. Basically the current proposal is an unashamed power grab by those clubs with the most money, taking advantage of the Covid situation in that so many clubs are struggling, and laughs in the face of democracy. One solution I would advocate would be a 10% transfer tax, with money going to EFL clubs that need it the most.
  16. Thats true they are in dire need of collapsing. There is plenty of cash to prop up Championship, League 1 and 2 clubs, but the big 6 have scented an opportunity for a power grab. Heres the 'proposals' The Premier League cut from 20 to 18 clubs, with the Championship, League One and League Two each retaining 24 teams. The bottom two teams in the Premier League relegated automatically with the 16th-placed team joining the Championship play-offs. The League Cup and Community Shield abolished. Parachute payments scrapped. A £250m rescue fund made immediately available to the EFL and 25% of all future TV deals. £100m paid to the FA to make up for lost revenue. Nine clubs given 'special voting rights' on certain issues, based on their extended runs in the Premier League.
