  1. Indeed. We might need to work on our hatchery. It really isn't warming the eggs like it should. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  2. There is absolutely nothing wrong with his motivation. What a weird thing to say, B. If anything - being a real Chelsea fan all his life - he wants with a burning desire to PROVE he can do better than our other strikers. He wants to show José what he can do. How can you call it bad motivation in him, while on the other hand we all praise a winning, fighting mentality. You cannot expect loanees to be tame sheep in their loan club and by divine intervention turn into roaring lions when they join the club again. that post made me laugh so hard(in a good way!) 4. True ... He suprised me as well. He could just make it! Id give him an EPL loan next year!
  5. Ow well, the season is still long. Storm in a glass of water, I believe. Time will even out these hiccups.
  6. Old news actually that is reported to be a long shot.
  7. There are a lot of uncertainties in that statement, I believe. 1. Courtois is a huge risk - which is not a fact but an opinion. He is a top (though young) keeper in my view and the views of many more + his excellent point saving abilities for Belgium (he was really there to save points in the WC campaign). Also, in his Genk years he got tested a LOT. He actually contributed greatly to their title by saving points. 2. Cech has 5 elite years in him. That is mere conjecture, really. No way of knowing + not every keeper can go on to say 37 as you seem to imply. A Van Der Sar scenario is more an exception than the norm. It would be dangerous to bet on it tbh. We will have to trust in José to make the right call.
  8. Good article mate. Cheers on the shout for Vanaken (origin Lokeren here!). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  9. Oh I'm sorry but this is not a reason. he made a mistake, he should save that. Agree. Just stating what is reported in the media. Not an excuse whatsoever!
  10. He took his eyes off the ball only after it left him. Definitely a mistake but certainly wouldn't come close to 'The Boruc' or 'The Hart'. And i certainly would'nt call this a Courtois An understandable mistake. Not as bad as they get. He said in the belgian media he completely missed the ball due to being blinded by the stadium lights
  11. We sucked. Zero shots in 45 min. No sense of urgency and too sloppy. The end Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. We look sloppy and not too focused ... C'mon boys! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  13. I'm arrogant? Let me requote you and see who's arrogant: But i can't be fucked to do it again so one of the mongrels on here just decides not to read it and thinks his opinion is far superior. Booyah. 1. That was a general remark. I am on here a lil longer than you and i have an issue with every post beginning with 'idiot' or 'that is the dumbest post on the forum' or whatever. It isnot arrogance, it is disappointment. The forum has gone downhill I fear. 2. Yes, you are. Almost every post you put is combative and a lot of them start with namecalling. 3. I love the debate about stats - but the initial point was that CR7 and Messi were already wc class at 22. I claimed their contextualised stats didnt merit that title just yet.
  14. Mikel ! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  15. Ow KDB in the selection apparently ... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  16. What do you think about his last game? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  17. Check the year before when he was actually 22 (feb 1985). Also, check the years before. He only exploded for real (superstar wise) in his last season. Year 2005-2006 he only managed 8 goals , 8 assists. Hazard did just as good, stats wise in Lille (21 goals at 20 years old vs 22 from a 22 year old Ronaldo). Wiki will have to do , your rudeness makes me lazy. As I said, Messi was already nearing superstardom at that age, but NOT the year before. He was Hazard-like at 20-21. So OUCH - contextualize your stats a bit. Also, don't be so arrogant. It is uncalled for.
  18. Well, stats wise they were not near superstar level at Hazards age. I once posted all the stats and made a big elaborate comparison (Messi was close though - even at that age). But i can't be fucked to do it again so one of the mongrels on here just decides not to read it and thinks his opinion is far superior. Booyah.
  19. Work-rate really is a comparative quantity to the ones put in by the other midfielders. Not just the game, but training, as I've mentioned as well. Body language says a lot, but I can't judge that. Jose and his staff take care of training sessions, and surely it has to be a criteria for selection. Actually I would have preferred him in the game against West Ham. It was perfect considering that we had 3 player rotating profile. De Bruyne would have done the job well in Lampard's role. But there has to be minute details to the way Chelsea set up, which we can't be sure about at all. How many games has Bertrand played though? Azpi had quite a few games. Arsenal, Schalke, WBA ( down with flu, so memory might not be right). I have a feeling Jose is trying to convert Azpi into a left-back. Then we don't need to buy a new left-back . Ivanovic and Kalas as right-backs and Azpi and Bertrand as left-backs. I really enjoyed Bertrand's performance against Cardiff though, but there is an underlying reason as to why he isn't starting. Either tactically or physically, the same as KDB. Actually I love facts :-) considering work rate, he had the highest measurable on the Bundesliga. Fact. Our idea on bodylanguage is actually that people very much suck at intepreting bodylanguage. All there is now is a 'too small pool' to draw much more than a sheet opinion from. So yes. We make - so does Jose- interpretations. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

  21. 1/3 some media in belgium always play down their countrymen 2/3 dont forget the defense in Epl isn't always that sharp/strong #areyouserious?!? 3/3 Lukaku got the motm award but had a tough first hour. He got a lot of compliments though.... 4/4 and then they wonder why I prefer to talk to the english press 5/5 a good thing not all fans are as negative as you guys ;-) Et voila! 22. I would love that as well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  23. I agree that he won't ever become amazing technically but there are certain refinements he can make, and for that to happen he needs to be playing regularly. The thing is with me, I don't want Romelu to just be content with being a solid goal scorer, I want h to be the best he can be, because he certainly has the mentality for that. He has the mentality alright. He will improve for sure. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  24. Not really, I still stand behind my point. I know Lukaku can score goals, he's a natural born goal scorer, like I've said many times before he's not gone out on loan to prove he can score goals. He's gone out on loan to improve his general play and to do the right thing in moments such as the one where he really should've done better with the final ball in the counter. Maybe Skipper .... I think Lukaku will never be a complete player. He will always be a pure bred goalscorer with quasi limited technical ability. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  25. Nice, nice game to watch! Now go win it Chels! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
