Well, just think about it. The human mind is primed to detect salient stuff. In leadership in companies (i know a bit here) it is the same. The obvious, dominant, assertive one, the one with the pure stats (or kpi's in companies) is often seen as the alpha. In truth, there is no clear correlation between the idea people have on performance and the true performance on a group level (Chelsea is still a group and we account them for the group performance.). Concrete: players that play like Hazard might help the team and its global output more than Bale or Suarez. That said: combining them would be great!
