Regardless of all rationales and weighing of arguments, i deeply feel this guy will make our right flank work. In an exciting manner as well. We were a bit sterile on that flank imo and Cuadrado does inject directness, taking on a man, going deep, making penetrating runs.... I'm sold :-)

Such a pity we let him go. To fit or not to fit is a unanswerable question imo. He had a great preseason, then an injury and struggled the few times he got a shot. For me he has been proving his worth all season. Too bad.

For me it is quite simple. After eons of Torres, this quality of striker - even with shortcomings even the very best have - does provide the goods. We really needed it and even pure stats back up the fact he is be a succes at our club. I hope he scores a whole pile of goals and I hope he keeps infecting our players with his fighting spirit. He really does that and our am's need it :-)
