Seriously error prone? Naive belgian contingent? Where does this come from? Funny. I think Cech is indeed much much better and much older and experienced too. But there is no need to overshoot and derogate Courtois. The guy IS doing really well in a really good top side. I think that is all the 'Belgian delegation' is pointing out. Ps: is it still ok to disagree without the fear of the banhammer, lol!

The 5 minute scout story is in it though. The mistranslation is more in this quote: Êtes-vous prêt pour ce grand pas ? Je vais vous faire un aveu : je ny pense pas. À Brême, je ne parle même jamais de Chelsea. Tout ce qui mintéresse pour le moment, cest de prendre plus de points avec le Werder (NdlR : le club nest que 11e avec 25 points). Translation: are you ready for that big step (going to Chelsea)? "I will make you a confession : I don't think about it, in Bremen I never talk about Chelsea. All that interests me for the moment is getting the points with Bremen. So yeah, thanks @Mak. Insidefootball fucked up. They put the 'do the blues want you back for the next campaign' instead of the original question: 'are you ready for that big step?' Incredible actually ...

Lol, so you are a branded Bushman, are ya. Well, well the gods must be crazy.

That has more to do with the fucking flu ive been having for a week now (think sofa, ipad, paracetamol) ...

I do look forward to the game, very much so. Not letting this phase ruin it at all! Chelsea is more than Fsw and Cli-Torres. Comon blues!

I think a PL loan is quite wrong. It would be naive to think a guy that just won the EL, the cup, The belgian Championship and goalie of the year would just go about a year of .... what? Wigan, QPR,, or what? He should be here. Learn from Cech, compete with him, fill in for him and maybe .... once fulfills his promise and take over. It will happen anytime with or without Courtois.

I must admit I am lost in translation now ... perhaps rafa as well :-)

Whatever the result they intend, I want Kevin here next year. Man managment is all about style-flexibility in commmunication and handling. If kevin would drop out (consider he knows our cm positions are thin now, consider he realizes how good he is/can be) what they did IS a bad thing. In any business losing an asset like this would get you fired.
-
Cheers mate! Schol!
-
Yeah, the way he rules the dcm position in the National Team lately. He would give us so much stability there, with the likes of Hazard, Mata Oscar before him .... Well, im a fan and there for biased :-)
-
Let's buy Witsel instead:-)

This is food for thought. What if indeed we immensely fail on the man management level. Too instrumental, too result driven, too nuts and bolts, formal and dry and simply forget the human factor; after all, this is still a game in which a motivational, confidence-wise, psychological aspect is of the utmost importance. I know some tend to neglect this or even discard the importance but really good players with confidence do really perform better. This is no secret 'cause a lot of empirical data/research exist on this matter with sometimes astonishing/surprising results. I do feel we see our team is increasingly being handled very one-directionally business-wise. Sometimes players look like 'shares on a stock market' (eg. our loanees). Oscar, KDB, and even Eden seem to need this 'soft' mental factor in the mix and it is not there. I am sure even our legends feel it now ... Hence the fucked up result and performances. I hope KDB doesn't give up on us ...

The Freddy Kruger of nouveau riche ballboys is rested, says the man! Let's see those fresh legs tomorrow! http://www.insidefutbol.com/2013/02/07/three-match-ban-has-given-me-welcome-rest-chelsea-star-eden-hazard-feeling-benefit-of-break/78887/

Well, 17 games in the cm position I mean (he even wears 6) - sigh. A traditional 6 would be a defensive midfielder indeed. An even more traditional 6 would even be a defender. I do hope you got what I mean with the post. Edit: Removed unnecessary remark. My bad.

It is my adagio. I try to live my life like this (for real) when the subject of money is concerned. I try to do what find fun, enjoyable and not what generates money. This is a very personal choice. His sometimes romantic views on the 'objectification' in Western society makes up for a good analyses. A lot of the first world problems do generate from this, I find. The solution - especially when he refers to alternative states of consciousness - I find bollocks actually :-). I See him as an exponent of his time, pretty much as Aldous Huxley (the doors of perception) and Timothy Leary (the somewhat crazy but brilliant psychologist who gave LSD to his graduate students before buggering of to Afghanistan and Congo). Fun guys though.
