His relationship with the board is a black box. We can guess, but nothing more. If he gets to be asked back, I am sure they will make better and clearer agreements then before. The same should count for our young ones. Oscar, KDB, Lukaku, Josh, Chalobah, .... We took an exit from buying established players 'strategy wise' for the coming years, so I am - relatively - confident this issue will also be adressed. All in all, to guard the team from getting damage that cannot be undone anymore, Mourinho is a good option (maybe not a very long term one, but that's an imposibility with Roman as well :-).

Ps: you were right though. The matches against Borussia and Hamburger were indeed under par. But he picked it up against Hannover :-) if we ever want him in our midfield, he will have to work on his defense though (made 1 tackle last game compared to 6 key passes)

Hey Mufassir, after watching his games, I now checked the Werder Bremen forums . First of all, they played him out of position a bit - on the wing and a little more defensive. During the game the fans were screaming to get him in the cm position where e could be more influencial. Overall, I (and the Werder fans) seem to think he is still doing really well, but he does put less risk in his play lastvfew games. This results in fewer bad passes but also less 'winners'. We could call it being 'quiet' - the Werder fans call it 'saving himself for Chelsea this summer now he has proven himself'. Lol Funny how perception and frame of reference changes things. Edit: they still think his pass completion rate is too low, too much errors in his passing. Perhaps, anybody got the stats? All by all I think he will heat up again no worries here.

Indeed! Mourinho coming back here would be massive and imo just what we need with this team! But, too many false (non) stories could destabilize us even more. Players read the papers too, I fear. I would love a 'clean cut' now instead of a promise/vague maybe for the summer (we are playing for a CL spot NOW - consider revenue, ffp and the need to get on track asap). Just sack Rafa and get Mourinho on board. Give him space and autonomy to work. I am sooooo hoping for this scenario. For now I ope the Sun is indeed right!

I agree. we don't need him now - he has a tendency do do an Eden/Mata and fall inside into the 10 position when on the wing. Also, we need two things in the middle/pivot I guess. 'something' powerful that can break it down, run and track upcoming guys + 'something' with vision and a great pas forward!

I never even dared to post on him here. I could just hear the 'belgian fanboy' remarks. lol. Dries is small, but hardcore. The wit and technique of Hazard combined with an SAS survival attitude. This kid is one talented fighter blessed with vision and heart. Maybe .... :-)

Well, Belgians (or at least this one) does the same. Especially when I say I will NOT drink (or be home on time, or the party is going to be boring so I won't get into it too much), then the shit hits the fan. EVERY TIME :-) Like clockwork. Swiss Clocks.
