  1. I'm not on either list, but if it's not too late, my team name is 'Kildare Blues FC'. Sorry I haven't been posting as much lately, by the way. I'll try to be more active.
  2. Here's my entry. It's pretty much the same as the one I posted for the graphics competition last June apart from a few obvious changes so that's why some of you may recognise it. If anyone has any suggestions for changing it in some way, they'd be more than welcome and if I can come up with something else before the deadline, I might post that instead. I haven't been able to post much over this season because I've been busy with school and it will most likely stay that way until the middle of June. Anyway, best of luck to the other entrants and I hope that the show is a major success! Version 5:
  3. Group A Poland Greece Russia Czech Republic Group B The Netherlands Denmark Germany Portugal Group C Spain Italy Republic of Ireland Croatia Group D Ukraine Sweden France England Very tough group for us. England do have a very good chance to go through though. Most Irish people wanted both countries in the same group.
  4. The Republic of Ireland beat Estonia 4-0 away in the Euro 2012 play-off first leg. Keith Andrews scored early enough in the first half with a header. Jonathan Walters headed in too about mid way through the second half after a sloppy save attempt from Pareiko, the Estonian 'keeper. Robbie Keane soon followed with a goal and scored again from the penalty spot in the 88th minute. Damien Duff took a bit of a knock, but they say he should be fit for Tuesday's second leg in the Aviva. Not a good night for Estonia at all and while they probably could have had some chances of their own, as the second half went on, it just seemed to get worse. Along with that scoreline, they were reduced to nine men while three others got yellow cards as well.
  5. If you're using Firefox, right-click the image and click 'Copy Image Location' and then like Super-Frank said, click on this icon and paste the link in and it should work. Chrome, Opera and Safari are more-or-less the same as Firefox, but it's 'Copy Image URL' (Chrome) and 'Copy Image Address' (Opera and Safari) instead. It seems to be a bit more awkward on Internet Explorer. The only way I can find (because I don't use it any more) is that you right-click the image, select 'Properties' down at the bottom and then find 'Address (URL)' and copy the link from there. I've covered all of the main browsers there so hopefully I've been of some assistance.
  6. It's been like that since last Saturday at the very least, which was when I first noticed it.
  7. I would assume so, but other than that article there has been no mention of it anywhere else and definitely nothing from either Chelsea or Celtic. It could still be that rumour I mentioned earlier although there is some more detail to that article so it's hard to tell.
  8. I remember hearing a couple of years ago that he was supposed to be Celtic's next big thing, and earlier this year a move to Chelsea started doing the rounds as a rumour. Most Celtic supporters seem really annoyed about it which is understandable though since the club did help him out a lot and they expected him to have a bright future there.
  9. Oxford United - Away Inter Milan - Away
  10. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll change it now.
  11. Both Michael Mancienne and Gökhan Töre are in the starting line-up for Hamburg against reigning Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund tonight in the first game of the league.
  12. To anyone who is either missing the match or doesn't want to use a stream and has access to Chelsea TV; you can watch Rangers v Chelsea in full from 5.15pm BST.
  13. Rangers, Celtic and Hearts may still have the chance to play European football, even if it is Europa League.
  14. I could well be wrong here Henrique, but I assume it's this Jim is talking about.
  15. Aberdeen - Away Olympique de Marseille - Third Athletic Bilbao - Home and Goalkeeper Borussia Dortmund - Champions League Home
  16. As far as I know you shouldn't have to be logging in via the full site on your mobile. To log-in to the forum using the mobile format, click the button in the top right hand corner that looks like this: Once you have done that, there should be an option to "Sign In" (among a number of others) and then just enter your log-in name and password there. If you are able to log-in this way, you can also check your messenger, new forum content and status updates using that button. Hope this helps you out.
  17. I wouldn't be all that surprised by them going out of the Champions League this early to be fair. McCoist is only in charge a couple of months and hasn't had the most successful of pre-seasons either judging by most of the scores. It could be a tough enough year for him but really it's too early to tell. So far they've won three, drew two and lost four under him, this includes friendlies, the league and Champions League. Not that any of this matters to the match on Saturday. Especially hope to see Chelsea win after losing to Rangers in 2007. Considering it's a friendly though I wouldn't rule out a draw.
  18. Our group is actually tough enough I reckon. Like OReillyD36 said, Germany will probably win it, which I'd be fairly happy about anyway since Germany are my second favourite country. Other than that, it will Austria and Sweden will cause us the problems mainly. I don't expect that much from Kazakhstan and the Faroe Islands. I can't see really Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales qualifying unfortunately, but England can definitely win Group H. Montenegro, Poland and Ukraine are good and may even cause problems but I still think England could do it.
  19. It ended up 5-0 to Spain. I'm not too surprised to be honest but it still would've been nice to see them get to the final. Fair play to them even still though, Ireland don't usually get that far in a football tournament at any level, even if there had been only eight teams in this one. Hopefully the Czech Republic win the final, they have Kalas and I don't usually go for Spain in any game anyway. That was a great goal though.
  20. The Republic of Ireland are up against Spain in the other semi-final of the U19 European Championship and it's about five minutes in at the moment. Come on you boys in green!
