  1. Neither. i am talking about Fabregas but mistakenly wrote hazard. Who else than cesc takes an hour to turn?
  2. Starting Baba is probably without any alternative. Aina has no experience in top flight and Zouma is no fullback. But given Baba is yet an average player and suspect defensively, we should better not stick Hazard in front of him. But he should still play. IMO the solution is putting him at no. 10 and drop Fabregas. I can see Dynamo playing really aggressive at their home and Fabregas needs like an hectar of space when collecting a ball before taking 2 mins, a cup of tea and 3 short bread fingers for turning. I have no idea why at 28 he is already declining so rapdily. i remmeber like it was yesterday hwen he scored that sprinting solo goal against tottenham for arsneal from the kick off. It is probably because he started playing pro football so early he now is only a shadow like Rooney. Anyway, I don't see him as a long-term starter anyway. There is no place for someone like him in modern football unless he finds himself a niche like Pirlo, but i fear he lacks the character and intelligence to do so. Yesterday he only performed ok because rlc, matic and ramires ran their lungs out for him. Against Dynamo it will be a whole different game. Bego Azpi Zoum JT Baba RLC Matic Pedro Hazard Willian Diego would be my lineup. We will surely concede, but IMO with a bit of luck we can still salvage a draw here. KTBFFH
  3. Hazard sits one game out and people already know he is off in summer....that is TC for you People should stop overreacting. Hazard needs us as much as we need him. If he continues the way he plays atm, no club in the world not even PSG will pay the 100m+ we will demand from him in summer with FOUR years on his contract. If Hazard forces a move after being benched for ONE game, no club will need him anyway. To become a top top player, you need to show some resilience and bounce back from that and I am sure he will as he is not as fickle as the guys who already have him out of the club. On a different note he surely is tired after a hectic international break + he looks out of shape physically, sporting a belly once again. But he will certainly get his act together and peform as last leason.
  4. rlc and ramires both can't tackle to save their lives but they are pressurizing people with their pace and forcing errors in villa's passing. like that. now we know why iva has been playing instead of baba. The latter is just as error prone. but at least he gives a shit.
  5. what i don't get in modern football is why players don't take free kicks early when the goalie is placing the wall. freekicks are allowed be executed quickly before the whistle. willian could have simply passed it into the empty net there.
  6. Has been on form this year almost throughout. Never thought a player at this age could still make such a leap in development but he is slowly becoming a top winger and the best player in Brazil and Chelsea which does not mean much atm tho. I liked both of his goals vs venezuela. His first one was a saveable shot but the direction, aggressiveness and pace he showed to work that shot and take it on was exceptional. The second goal was brilliant for the way he ghosted into the box with a late, unmarked run Lampard-style. His subsequent finish was clincial which is something he has not showed often so if he continues his brilliant goalscoring form, he can finally become the player we paid 35m for.
  7. The last point I am not sure about. Our play has always been centred on a big, athletic striker who can shield and distribute balls aka the striker lukaku was always going to become. Sure he has always had technical deficiencies. IMO the last 3 seasons he has performed on the same decent level but this season he made a leap. However, neither we nor him would have had the patience to let him develop here. His talent or that he might eventually become the player we need has never been in question not even by Mou. But the last few seasons showed we are reliant on a consistent striker and hence we were in no position to take the time for him to become just that.
  8. But plays decent overall.never been a fan of his penalty taking anyway. But our midfield general really should be a strong character than him.
  9. Can't be worse than blackman and won t probably ever play so no complaints. Italy had a bunch of good keepers but he still made their squad at times so he can't be that bad
  10. Err about the same. Klopp is defo better in counterattacking, pressing and developing young players whilst mourinho is better at bus parking, mind games and winning finals. They are both excellent motivators but don't know shit about how to get a team out of the slump. Also they both have deficiencies in buying players. Mourinho has more experience but who knows how much that counts for.
  11. If mourinho had won the Cl last year he still should not get a 4 year deal BC of that. Never been stable in the managerial position. Mourinho will get fired within the next 9 months and it will be damn expensive. And who would buy a soon to be 29 y.o. Ramirez out of a 4 year contract on these outrageous wages? Suarez was a WC player on the peak of his powers, Ramirez is an average cm that has been declining for 3 years now and we want to spend 70k per week on another 4 years of decline? He would be crazy to leave now.
  12. no players in summer, overpaying 4 year contracts for mourinho and Ramires. The board is getting us deeper and deeper in the shit. Embarrasing display. No wonder we are currently the laughing stock of European football with this bunch of full time dumbasses at the helm taking a great club right back to mediocrity.
  13. just like in the Mourinho case an unnecessary and premature extension. Ramires relies on his physical attributes pace and stamina. both will have gone down the drain until 2019 when he will be 32. Still we seem he will be worth in excess of 70k a week then. Incredible. After doing sound business for some years the board is back to being completely braindead. Horrible summer transfer window. then that needless extension of Mourinho's contract and than this just as unnecessary extension of Ramires's working paper. Just plain atrocious. Whoever in charge of this disaster should be fired immediately.
  14. btw we started with only 3 "tall" outfield players vs southamtpon anyway (6'1 is about the average height where i live anyway so hardly tall) and were not even in danger conceding from a set piece. Mourinho's logic is so flawed, i don't get why we have to take this carp, Mourinho is so full of shit. If height is the only issue, a club with our budget really should be able to acquire one of the hundreds of fullbacks who are taller and better than Ivanvoic. Why pay 30m for Baba when he is that tiny in the first place?
  15. ----------Bego---------- --Zouma-JT--Cahill-- Azpi-----------------Baba -------Matic--RLC------- Willian-------------Hazard ----------Diego------------- can certainly salvage a draw here. In importnat games such as this 6 pointer we should always leave out Cesc. Also has 6 players who are all way taller than Ivanovic so Mou should be ok with that.
  16. Yeah he burns them and then dances around the pyre. Says Capello whose England players were knackered after one game in WC 2010. But he might have a point. Tiny squad, no rotation, horrible preseason, needless post season. But it could also be the opposite. The players had an elongated break and still look far from fit. Maybe he burns them not enough. Also players like Pedro, Falcao, Zouma, Remy look average or shit and should hardly be exhausted.
  17. this is so sick. baba must feel really screwed. Jose knew BAba was only 179cm tall so why the heck did he even sign him for that outrageous fee? If one of his fullback has to be tall why not sign tall ones? We could have had JOnas hector who is as tall as Ivanovic for peanuts. Who did Jose think Baba would replace? Azpi? A form crisis can always happen especially for aging players who always had their deficiencies exposed so why can a club with out budget not replace him just because of fucking height? I just don't get this how highly paid people at the club can be this dumb.
  18. What worries me most is that he still blames individual mistakes for our defeats which is BS. Our defeats are rooted in the word "individual" only. We don't play as a team. Somehow Mou has lost his ability to forge some good individual players into a team. When those individuals , after all they are just footballers, lose their confidence because of results they will perform poorly individually. But the problem goes beyond that. Earlier, if the coach could not forge the team, our big characters of the old guard could motivate the players to perform for each other. but now we only good fair-weather players who can not even pull themselves out of the slump, players Mourinho bought. If you give Fabregas, Ivanovic leading roles it can only be on a sinking ship.
  19. this was fucking unnecessary. he is our best dm even tho his current form is poor. Mou only aggravated this by subbing him just after 15 mins.
  20. and porto squad and crystal palace squad and everton squad
  21. no surprise. amazing performance by southampton tbf but we have been awful throughout.
  22. this is not even about the players it is about the team or rather the absence of a team. this is just a selection of players not a fucking team. no tactical understanding, no awareness, no passion. they are mentally completely off. horrible to watch, such pain. could as well end this match now.
  23. that thing is, everyone knew exactly how this game would turn out and no one esp. mourinho could do nothing about it. everyone knew pelle would dominate cahill and that mane would score. so, what an absolute horrible ref. both teams have now been declined 2 pens
